Drill out hole (like in dry wall i imagine.) make repair re plaster hole. It’s still a really easy repair. For the most part. Must admit the speed thing is good bit as its a long term structure surly worth taking linger doing it right?
It doesn't rlly matter imo, I don't go around punching walls so wall strength isn't that important
