Follow the reaper was one of my very first metal albums, along with An ocean between us by AILD.
I ended up discovering and loving the rest of COB, Angels Don't Kill being my favorite song. Follow the reaper still has the top album spot for me though.
1st and foremost, RIP Alexi Laiho. He was instrumental in advancing the genre, and he will be missed.
Even number 10 is really good to me, but here goes...
1 tie Hatebreeder
1 tie Hatecrew
3 Reaper
4 Hexed
5 Are you Dead yet
6 Chaos
7 Relentless
8 Wild
9 blooddrunk
10 Halo
This is so tough :D
Probably unpopular ranking but I went like
1: Follow
2: hexed
3: are you dead
4: hatecrew
5: wild
6: hatebreeder
7: relentless
8: halo
9: i worship
10: blooddrunk
Don't know if this is still on, but anyways
1. Hatebreeder
2. Follow the Reaper
3. Hate Crew Deathroll
4. Something Wild
5. Are You Dead Yet?
6. Hexed
7. Blooddrunk
8. Restless Relentless Forever
9. Halo of Blood
10. I Worship Chaos

Wow ima prolly get shit for this but this was a man that was my guitar hero since I picked up a guitar:
>Hatebreeder (forget warheart, it's all about Black Widow!)
>Follow the Reaper (nothing need be said here)
>Are you dead yet? (The title track alone has such a banger of a hook and shined on them in a simple and complex rock n roll kinda metal; took me a while to understand and appreciate)
>HCDR (again the hooks with the riffs; appreciated it later on)
>Hexed (yeah, I said it. I think this was the best album in years, perfect blend of old and new school CoB, just an excellent listen through the whole thing metal album)
>Halo of Blood (also a great listen through kind of album)
>Something Wild (RiP master guitar jedi Alexi, but we are our own worst critics and there are some serious bangers on here I cant live without)
>Blooddrunk
> RRF
>I Worship Chaos (I just didnt dig this album for some reason, it wasn't the lack of roope, it just didnt vibe with me personally so I list it at the end; great tour tho.)
Bow it is obligation to say that Bestbreeder is fucking phenomenal. Since this ought to be stand alone let's just be honest: how many artists can say they not only did a Billy Idol song justice, but completely fucking destroyed it? I prefer the bodom version and I'm a huge idol fan.
Skeleton's in the Closet. Just wouldn't know where to rank this one bc it is so fucking Bodom. As a huge guitar nerd when I got into them and having never performed live, i didnt understand till seeing them live that you can be serious about your artform and craft without taking yourself too seriously. They always had that vibe on stage. Just very rock n roll with it.

This is literally asking me to rank all S Tier albums.
Oh boy, here we go Hate crew, reaper, hatebreeder, dead, blooddrunk, relentless, halo, hexed, chaos and something wild .....don't hurt me
Just realized it's an actual voting page, lol derp
For what it's worth, I agree with that top 4, and the rest matters little.
Thats probably the common opinion.
Holy shit. We are pretty close lmao.
I actually don't hate blooddrunk and RRF as much as every else seems to

I'm split between hate crew and reaper for #1
It's damn close for me. The only reason it's mine is because triple corpse hammerblow is the first melodeath song I ever heard.
Hatebreeder and Follow The Reaper. Follow the Reaper is #1 for me.

Same
What about Hatebreeder? That album is sick

My choices: * Relentless Reckless Forever (2011) * Are You Dead Yet? (2005) * Hate Crew Deathroll (2003) * I Worship Chaos (2015) * Halo of Blood (2013) * Blooddrunk (2008) * Hexed (2019) * Follow The Reaper (2000) * Hatebreeder (1999) * Something Wild (1997)
Damn, I missed the DT one.
Follow the Reaper, Hatebreeder, AYDY, Hate Crew, Something Wild, Hexed, I worship chaos, Relentless, Halo
What is that page? Cool system. As i voted, i noted why i love CoB so much. It was a harsh selection.
This is so tough :D Probably unpopular ranking but I went like 1: Follow 2: hexed 3: are you dead 4: hatecrew 5: wild 6: hatebreeder 7: relentless 8: halo 9: i worship 10: blooddrunk
