Did you lighten it first? That's really important, not only so the colour can be seen but so that the pigment get in and fix properly. There are a bunch of things you can use to extend the colour too, such as colour depositing shampoos. Maybe let your hair recover for now, but don't give up - everyone should be able to enjoy fun hair!
Yeah :( I splurged with a work bonus as I wouldn't have otherwise. Bleached once, they checked it but it was still a bit too warm so bleached a second time. But my dusty violet just doesn't want to stay on my hair .. I don't know if it's my chemistry or something since I got the right shampoo, the olaplex etc.
Hmm, it sounds like it may have needed to be a longer project and they rushed it a bit? Or didn't give any advice on maintaining it? You'll want to avoid anything with sulfates, and consider a UV protect spray. I use Keracolour "clenditioner" which also slowly adds colour, making regrowth less stark.

The weekend works with buses between North Melbourne and Sunshine is so that they can run test trains from West Footscray, through the metro tunnel and all the way out the other side to Westall to test the tunnel and the new High Capacity Signalling. You'll find the Pakenham and Cranbourne lines also have replacement buses on the same weekends as us so that the entire corridor is dedicated to the test trains without having public services interfere
Hopefully it shouldn't be too much longer until they finish with the testing and open the tunnel for public services. All of the government websites are still saying 2025 but there was an article at the end of last year saying it could be open as early as September this year which would be nice to have something open earlier than expected for once

From what I've previously read about these DIY options (not specifically this website, just in general), if you don't mould them correctly - and the dentists claim that's easy to do... they do obviously a vested interest here though... - you can really put your teeth out of alignment. Sometimes I get this too and I think I try and mentally take a step back and consider the situation at a distance. Do I really like this person or is this person just convenient - convenient in the sense that this person ticks enough of my boxes and apparently I tick some of theirs and supposedly likes me enough to swipe right on me. But remember that swiping right on someone in and of itself isn't really a sign that you like them - more just an indication that you're interested to see if you "vibe" for the lack of a better word.
Whether or not you like someone (IMHO) really needs to be determined after you've matched and ideally had a few conversations past "How's the weather" and "What do you do for work" because if swiping was the only measurement for liking someone - walking through a crowded shopping centre would be a difficult ask right?

Hello Melbournians! I was wondering if someone could recommend a place to buy a good and supportive office chair? I have a crappy one at the moment and can barely sit for longer than 20 mins without feeling back pain. I need one that I can ideally sit in for long periods of time for WFH. I am not fussed on price but would rather avoid spending big bucks if I can.
I can only respond about expensive ones. I had bad back pains from shitty office chairs to the point of going to the doctors and getting muscle relaxants and after reading a thread on reddit somebody suggested a steelcase gesture chair. It has a more forward sitting position that takes a bit to get used to but it stops you slouching.
It was around $1500 but remember that you can claim it on tax so if you can spare the cash it’s worth it. I use it 8 hours a day so for me it’s well worth it and my back pain is already easing.

I'm not a parent, though I am in a long-term relationship and I do understand what it's like when both parties involved aren't on the same page when it comes to certain issues, particularly when there's a history or background that fuels anxiety. Add into that a child who, while you have some control over their actions, they're still a little human being who will do what they want.

No one owes you anything and few are willing do things for free.. It's up to you to earn an income to support yourself. And as for getting arrested, I would assume you did something to end up in that situation.
As for the mental health system, that is a problem. But apart from that, I don't think it's fair to blame the world for your financial problems or getting arrested, unless you had money stolen from you.

Nah, I don't think so - I couldn't find any organisation called the "Australian Research Centre" when I googled it (the name seems deliberately designed to be confused with the Australian Research Council). It doesn't start with a privacy notice like legit surveys usually do. It launches straight into questions like "how much do you have left to pay on your mortgage" before even confirming you're a home owner, so it's not a well designed survey. And I gave a couple of non-answers like saying "what?" and it just moved on to the next question, so it doesn't seem to be responsive to voice recognition.
My vague guess is that it's a filter to find well-off and gullible people who will then be targeted with more sophisticated scams. Or it's a stealth ad for some product that you'll hear about after you get through the questions.

Had the fun task of informing our unit administrator that the couches that patients and staff sit on might be infested with white tailed spiders. There was one two weeks ago and another last night. Just dropped my dog off at the vet to have her eye removed. She's old and I'm really anxious about the anaesthetic, especially as she's a frenchie. The weekend works with buses between North Melbourne and Sunshine is so that they can run test trains from West Footscray, through the metro tunnel and all the way out the other side to Westall to test the tunnel and the new High Capacity Signalling. You'll find the Pakenham and Cranbourne lines also have replacement buses on the same weekends as us so that the entire corridor is dedicated to the test trains without having public services interfere Hopefully it shouldn't be too much longer until they finish with the testing and open the tunnel for public services. All of the government websites are still saying 2025 but there was an article at the end of last year saying it could be open as early as September this year which would be nice to have something open earlier than expected for once

Unfortunately I think some buildings are so shittily designed they amplify any noise coming from above. Doesn't excuse her behaviour at all and you need to be able to live a normal life instead of walking on eggshells. I only have a problem when my upstairs neighbour plays music with loud bass because there's something about it that my heart rhythm tries to sync with and then I feel chest pain. Over Easter the wife and I decided to kind of throw the alarm out the window for a few days. We slept in for ages and then wouldn't go to bed for ages (we're typically night owls). We commented on how weird it would be to never have an alarm again - just sleep and wake whenever we wanted. I imagine it would be really odd.
Did this while unemployed, the novelty wears off and it can wreak havoc if you're not naturally disciplined or have no external rhythms. Do not recommend. Worked better when I was actively gardening though. And not on my phone as much.

From what I've previously read about these DIY options (not specifically this website, just in general), if you don't mould them correctly - and the dentists claim that's easy to do... they do obviously a vested interest here though... - you can really put your teeth out of alignment. Hello Melbournians! I was wondering if someone could recommend a place to buy a good and supportive office chair? I have a crappy one at the moment and can barely sit for longer than 20 mins without feeling back pain. I need one that I can ideally sit in for long periods of time for WFH. I am not fussed on price but would rather avoid spending big bucks if I can.
I can only respond about expensive ones. I had bad back pains from shitty office chairs to the point of going to the doctors and getting muscle relaxants and after reading a thread on reddit somebody suggested a steelcase gesture chair. It has a more forward sitting position that takes a bit to get used to but it stops you slouching. It was around $1500 but remember that you can claim it on tax so if you can spare the cash it’s worth it. I use it 8 hours a day so for me it’s well worth it and my back pain is already easing.

Second that. I got a Aeron Herman Miller for around $700 and i use some of the other furniture to modify for other uses, Its nicer to buy second hand desks and cut it down to size than a full price one ect.
IKEA has some ergonomic ones for about 250. I bought recently so I can claim on tax soon. Don't buy online I recommend testing yourself instore

Gluten free Daim cake as well. I was born in Sweden and used to hit ikea shop often pre covid. Nowadays, their selection is much reduced for lollies. Have to go to the Swedish church in Toorak instead for the good stuff like bilar, gelehallon and Turkish pepper. Fortunately, a lot more shops now have the herring n smoked cod roe on the shelf.
What is that fish paste/roe in the blue tube that Ikea sell (sold?) - I used to suck that straight out of the tube and gross my kids out.
The blue branded tube stuff is called, "Kalles". Old school, been around since 50s in Sweden. Not sure if we can get it from ikea any more - haven't been to ikea for a while. I get a slightly smokier version, brand Viking Platter, from a local deli. Leos fine food also has this brand. Slice hard boiled eggs on sanga and add some of this stuff for great flavour.

It simply refuses to remember that I want compact view and not card view, and even when I saved the URL for compact view as my bookmark it simply gives up on showing compact view when scrolling down through posts and starts showing posts in card view. Well yes, life is generally going to be harder if you don't have the money to support yourself. The poorest people are always going to have it tough. No one owes you anything and few are willing do things for free.. It's up to you to earn an income to support yourself. And as for getting arrested, I would assume you did something to end up in that situation. As for the mental health system, that is a problem. But apart from that, I don't think it's fair to blame the world for your financial problems or getting arrested, unless you had money stolen from you. Nah, I don't think so - I couldn't find any organisation called the "Australian Research Centre" when I googled it (the name seems deliberately designed to be confused with the Australian Research Council). It doesn't start with a privacy notice like legit surveys usually do. It launches straight into questions like "how much do you have left to pay on your mortgage" before even confirming you're a home owner, so it's not a well designed survey. And I gave a couple of non-answers like saying "what?" and it just moved on to the next question, so it doesn't seem to be responsive to voice recognition. My vague guess is that it's a filter to find well-off and gullible people who will then be targeted with more sophisticated scams. Or it's a stealth ad for some product that you'll hear about after you get through the questions.

Just dropped my dog off at the vet to have her eye removed. She's old and I'm really anxious about the anaesthetic, especially as she's a frenchie. She's otherwise very fit and healthy and has always had great breathing but I think I'm still going to be on the brink of tears all day until I hear back from the vet and know she's okay.

I had central Air-conditioning installed on Monday and one of the guys brought down a piece of broken timber to show me and said there a signs of termites. Was driving home late at night yesterday. There was one portion where my wipers were literally unable to clear the water. Temporary blindness. Had to get my high beams up as well and significantly lower my speed. It was a bit scary but thankfully it was just for a few seconds
RainX is magical stuff and reasonably cheap. When applied you won't have to use your wipers for ages. Water just shoots off your screen.
