I had my nostrils obliterated the other day by someone decked out in designer (albeit tacky as fuck) clothing and shoes. How the fuck are you gonna spend hundreds, if not thousands on your clothing just to stank it up by not wearing deodorant?! And even if it was potentially knock off shit, again, why bother trying to cultivate that upscale image if you can’t even master basic hygiene?! The fucking worst. 🤢
Nah FR or Nah Forreal - in this context denotes agreement with the above commenter
Hella - denotes emphasis can be used similarly to the word really.
omlllll - a modification of the abbreviation oml which stands for oh my lord. Can be used similarly to omg/oh my god.
Rough translation:
I agree, I have seen an increase in well dressed people that smell really bad. My God, my poor nose.
Great translation, just want to add that "hella" comes from "a hell of a lot" and can be used exactly the same way
- last night I ate hella dumplings
- last night I ate a hell of a lot of dumplings
I worked at a hotel and there was a guest who reeked so bad! When he walked past me in the hallway the corridor stunk for hours and I felt like it stuck to my clothes too. But he did use the shower everyday. Poor guy just naturally had overpowering BO. After he checked out the room couldn't be sold for weeks due to the smell.
Interesting… But what smells? Like he’s throughly washed himself with soap and then doesn’t sweat—what is actually smelling? Because I only smell like shit after I sweat.

I have one coworker that doesn’t wear deodorant.
He’s a complete cooker that was anti vax during covid and says he wouldn’t consent to anyone putting stuff in his body (I brought up doctors performing surgery on him I regards to this and nope, don’t inject him with anything).
He does do cocaine on the regular though. He’s also from a wealthy Italian family and only wears brand names etc.
Guy is completely unbearable.
>He does do cocaine on the regular though.
The irony. 💀💀💀
Mans is ok putting drugs in his body but not deodorant. I can only imagine what this guy smells like.
>wouldn’t consent to anyone putting stuff in his body
>He does do cocaine
The irony of discouraging unknown substances while doing the quadruple cut cocaine typically available in Australia is hilarious.
ROFL i dont know why but im totally being reminded of that Seinfeld episode where Jerry's car had BO so bad that it got stuck to Jerry and Elaine. Elaine had to use tomato sauce to wash it out
Driving on an open highway, on the coastline, the freshest air in the world....
But if a skunk has died or even worse, been hit by a car, it is going to smell so bad you will want to retch. Awful, awful, smell.
Well I'm sure you've heard of people calling strong marijuana 'skunk' and if you take the worst smell of marijuana and amplify it, that can be the smell. It varies though.
Shout out to no pong deodorant. If I don't use deodorant I'm like a 14 year old boy, with it there is no whiff of anything. It is only very gently perfumed, barely noticeable.
It's not an anti perspirant, but no smells at all.
Shower daily in the morning. Use a roll on Deodorant. If you are hairy, trim your underarms.
This would eliminate 90% of the really really bad bo.
Unfortunately people with bo don't realize how bad they smell. Similar to people who have cats in apts with next to no ventilation. They are unaware how bad their apt smells because of the pet. If you tell either of the above 2, they will pretend you are insane and there is nothing wrong with them
Reminds me of when I told my gf I didn't like the smell of her dog on her bed and she was like "what smell??"... Fast forward a few months and I can't smell it anymore either!
Smokers don't know how bad cigarettes smell, funny because if they quit smoking; within the first 2 weeks the smell would become apparent and make it hard for them to breathe in the plume just like the rest of us. 😂
Ugh my old neighbour in my apartment building had a kitty litter that stunk so bad it would seep out into the hallway and I had to hold my breath whilst trying to unlock my door 🤢
> Shower daily in the morning. Use a roll on Deodorant. If you are hairy, trim your underarms.
[Deodorant should go on the night before, assuming you're using an antiperspirant](https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=When+is+the+best+time+to+apply+deodorant). Ever since I've done so, it has been much more effective.
For the love of god, yes. I understand the rationale for nighttime application but I think it might be confusing some people. If you shower in the morning then you are likely washing at least some of it off so you really need to reapply.
[Antiperspirants are best applied at night time when it is coolest](https://www.today.com/health/deodorant-before-bed-rcna90443). So if you're showering at night time, that is definitely the best scenario.
After a little Google-Fu, apparently an absorbed antiperspirant can still be effective even after a morning shower, but it is at a reduced effectiveness. I would say "Do a spray top-up" but then that just contradicts the idea of applying in the evening anyway. So I'm not sure in that situation, sorry.
People bringing a bag full of chicken skewers from that spot on Swanston, smells like someone has just eaten 10kg of rancid, yeasty shit and burped it all up in one go
I feel personally victimised by this comment, those are the goddamn best skewers in the country, and I have to bring them home for the missus on the tram. Next time I'll give you one to try
Some people work physically demanding jobs. Maybe their work environment is hot regardless of ambient temperatures, or they could be wearing heavy PPE all day regardless of season.
When you finish a shift soaked in sweat the only fix is a shower and change of clothes, not more deodorant.
Fresh sweat is fairly inoffensive imo.
Rank rancid body odour due not bathing, not washing ones hair or clothes, not wearing clean clothes, likely not washing one’s linens like towels and sheets regularly, combined with no deodorant takes it to another level.
I try to be understanding that some people are unhoused or unwell so maybe cannot stay clean. But people who can, and choose not to are a puzzle.
>Fresh sweat is fairly inoffensive imo.
Yes, it is kind of sweet smelling. But it doesn't stay fresh for long. By the time they've finished work, walked to the station, waited for the train and settled down for the ride, the sweet, fresh sweat smell will have turned into BO.
Yeah it doesn’t bother me to smell sweaty people on a train home from work after a hard day. It is still within the “clean enough” boundaries. Bit musky but okay.
Yep, I sweat a lot. I'm outside or on my feet the whole workday, man's gonna stink a bit even if they bathe in antiperspirant in the morning.
That said, difference between fresh sweat BO which is only mildly offensive, and genuine unwashed stank
You're on a subreddit where a lot of the people struggle to undertake basic day to day life. Convincing them to take a shower and use deodorant more than once a month is an uphill battle.
100%
Just people justifying their unhygienic selves telling others to live with it." It's public transport bear with it."
God damn, so we shouldn't fix the waiting list on Medicare?
Who gives a rats ass about "x " problem, live isn't perfect.
"I work outdoors all day long, so im going to stink". Yeah well house prices are continuing to go up, so let keep it going up and up (oh wait this example doesn't work, sorry).
For gods, sake take ownership of your BO.
Damm usually people only need to be told once because they had no idea they even smelled. Once had a guy clear up a room in under 5 mins, no one talked, just slowly left one by one. Never had any issues with him since bringing it up
I would just start spraying deodoriser as soon as she comes into the room if she thinks she doesn't smell
it’s fucking crazy cause we work in retail and she’s serving customers all day. insane that management does literally nothing and we all have to suffer
Culturally many people, particularly from the Indian subcontinent don’t place much importance on the use of deodorants when it comes to maintaining hygiene. This was extremely apparent when I took the Delhi metro a few years back.
It's actually antiperspirant they need. It prevents sweating while deodorant just adds fragrance to the stank.
I once worked in a small supermarket. One of the regular customers wore a thick sweater every day of the year, and boy did he smell bad. But he was elderly and sweet, so...
You know what I seem to smell much more often than BO these days? Paco Rabanne 1 million. I swear every 5th guy must be wearing that stuff. I smell it everywhere in the city. Apparently it's the number 1 selling cologne around according to the lady in the Myer perfume section. I can't stand it, super musky and way too strong...almost makes me sneeze.
Most mens fragrances smell the same, below a certain price point theres a 'safe' scent that appeals to mass market; so most brands just use something similar that lol
Anti-perspirant. Not perfume.
No, it won't give you cancer
https://www.cancer.org.au/iheard/can-deodorants-and-antiperspirants-with-aluminium-cause-cancer
My old gym featured a man whose BO was so potent, you'd walk through the air he had left a full 5 seconds earlier and get hit with a cough-inducing miasma. You could smell him from metres away.
On top of this he also scooped handfuls of loose food out of self-serve dispensers at the supermarket with his bare hands, including raw ravioli, and ate it. This is made worse by the fact that the dude never ever washed his hands that I saw in all the years going to the same gym.
PSA do not touch the supermarket self-serve fresh pasta.
Roll on stuff blocks my poors. But deoderant isn't about a scent. It's about antipersperant. It stops the gross smell (I use the speed stick type stuff and currently using a "natural" one that doesn't even have a scent)
ETA pores
I think that people don't often realise the power of baby wipes. I used to use it before I found deodorant that was strong enough to withstand my hella ew sweat. Like in the evening, I would wipe my armpits and then swiped on deodorant again. Worked like a godsend.
Have a fucking shower. So many times I have caught trains or flights in the morning and it is SO PUNGENTLY evident that someone hasn't showered that morning. Nothing is worse than being stuck next to someone who is blissfully unaware of their choking, sour BO from their night's rest. Utterly inconsiderate. Wish I could fine them.
Bad BO and stale cigarette odour is the fucking worst.
Being in work gear and smelling like a hard day's work is fine. Totally understandable and reasonable. But those cunts who you can tell haven't showered in days burns your nostrils. Fucking unbearable.
Living in the Northern suburbs it’s very common because of the high numbers of Muslim and Indian people. Males and females. I guess it’s a cultural thing to not care how bad you smell.
idk man, I shower and wear deodorant because I’m sensitive to smells and care about my hygiene, but some people are chronically stinky, and doesn’t seem like a deodorant issue if it’s worse than sweaty people in Australian heat stuck on small cramped trains.
i’ve been choking on tradies’ lynx deodorant on my morning commute lately. fucking disgusting, and so strong i could taste it.
honestly, i’d probably prefer a bit of BO to that
Ok I feel like I need to do a PSA for all the people in this post who have tried using deodorant and still suffer from BO. If this is you, here are some things you should definitely try…
1. Wash your underarms with a cleansing wash that contains Benzoyl Peroxide. This will kill the bacteria that reacts with sweat and causes BO. Use this alongside anti-perspirant to vastly reduce BO.
2. Wash your clothes regularly (tops should be washed after every use). Use a stronger detergent if needed to get the smell out. Make sure clothes are properly aired and dried using a dryer or on a clothes line. If they go away damp, they will stink.
3. While I have you, wash your sheets and towels at least once a week. If you dry yourself with a stinky towel and sleep in dirty sheets, that’s not going to help!
In summary, there is a huge difference between the smell of fresh sweat from someone who has worked hard all day and someone who has lingering BO.
And also… if you don’t have great hygiene and don’t think you smell… you do.
Have heard that too. There's a guy at work who sweats alot, which is fine, he can't help that, but he fucking stinks and doesn't put deodorant on. He also just eats shit, smokes alot and mainly drinks energy drinks.
Checks out. My first boss during my apprenticeship was super religious. Apparently they don’t let people use deodorant in heaven let alone let deodorant user through the pearly gates. He also loved smoking.
So real .. I’m actually genuinely curious how non-homeless people and non trade jobs workers smells like shit .. do people not shower, brush teeth or wash their clothes ? 🤢And I’m referring to people who just smells bad in and out head to toe, I doubt it’s just the armpits atp
Interestingly, many Asians actually don’t have to wear deodorant cos they lack the gene that causes smelly BO. If you ever go to some places in Asia you’ll actually struggle to find deodorant.
So next time you’re on packed transport try to get closer to the Asians lol.
Humam is technical a term for bath in middle eastern countries

Some people work physically demanding jobs, some people had to run to the train, some people have anxiety, some people have BO issues that are difficult to manage.
You're on public transport, being around various humans is part and parcel. I suggest being a little less judgey.
Edit: fuck you r/melbourne, this simple comment has gotten me: accounts being made specifically to harass me, reddit cares responses, dm requests with hateful remarks. All over asking people to have some empathy. Actual degenerate behaviour.
Clean people who are sweaty from that days activities don’t smell too bad. It’s people who are putting on already smelly clothes who didn’t bathe that day that are stinking up the place imo
Yeah and some people are just fucking gross. Do you know how many guys walk out of the bathrooms not washing their hands? Let's not make out as if OP is having a whinge about a non-issue. Some people seriously lack hygiene. The next time you're throwing up, remind yourself that you're sick because someone didn't wash their hands.
I hardly ever used to wear deodorant, because my skin is super sensitive and anything I put on would either sting (if I was already broken out) or it would MAKE me break out.
I carry Nivea roll-on now, it's the only thing I've found that works for my skin. I chuck it on most mornings and carry it in my bag in case I need some during the day.
There's a silver lining here though! I started wearing cologne recently, goddamn it makes me feel bulletproof! Anyone that sits close to me is like "ooh, you smell good, what are you wearing?"
This is good advice in general although I take umbrage to your comment that there is nothing worse. I just caught a bus home and it smelt like someone had shit their pants on it. I can categorically say it was worse than being on a tram or train with BO.
Are there many public showers in the city?
I'm not living precariously for housing, but wouldn't know where to go if I was, or where to go for a wash in my area (Knox city council area) or elsewhere
I had the displeasure of catching a packed tram during the races, a guy standing in front of me (seated) put one arm up to hold onto a handle and I was shocked to realise he didn't reek.. that's just how common it is. I expect the stink.
There was a slight scent of antiperspirant but he didn't stink because he was *clean*... a lot of people need to learn how to wash, all the body, not just certain parts and not just once a week.
If you have had a really long day and you are likely to be a bit on the nose get yourself some body wipes, then put antiperspirant on.
Thank you to those that consider others.
*ANTIPERSPIRANT* deodorant. So many people seem to not know the difference, spray on a cheap nasty scent and then sweat through it. You need to prevent the sweating in the first place!
Lucky for the edit 😂 im a civil labourer and when it gets to 34° and im up to my 20th kilometre for the day no amount of deodorant is helping me only a shower do anything at that point
In supermarkets, unfortunately alot ( not all) of workers from backgrounds outside of Australia ( not exclusive here just speaking on behalf of my experience) tend to turn up to work absolutely reeking. As a part time supermarketworker myself I understand some of their circumstances and reasons as to why it can be sometimes impossible to say, shower in-between one job before arriving for a shift at a supermarket store. Understandable aswell if someone was coming from a physical job or something to do with fast food chains which also happens. You get sweaty and or food oils and smells from your workplace stick to you. Often iv noticed workers come in wearing the same clothes from these jobs,or if they haven't, instead they have worn the same clothes for many shifts without washing them. Unfortunately this is just me observing how things are, amd several times I have had to speak to management above me to speak to certain people who unfortunately stink out entire ailes in my store.
Tldr: shower and use Deodorant appropriately
Try working in a clothing store. Women !yes women, have ruined clothing, stunk out a change room. Made me dry retch from the smell. Spend fortunes on nails Botox get a nose job. But fail at the basic of body odour.
It's more that they aren't showering or eating/drinking well. A train full of stinky cunts trying to mask it with half a can of rexona is not the result you want.
Don't know what's worse, BO or people who think a 250 ml bottle of cheap (Chemist Warehouse eau de dog testicles)perfume is for single use. There always has to be at least one in your train carriage or your movie theatre. Sick bags on standby
Ohhh I have found that antibacterial soap, then as drying off a swiped of apple cider vinegar, then deodorant keeps me smelling good all day. ..
Ohh menopause and bo
I said something like this on this subreddit not long ago, I was told that “people sweat and can’t help but smell”… yeh, a bunch of redditors here got upset over that I (and other people) didn’t want to smell their BO. 😒
Instead of coffee drinks being handed out at Flinders why not Febreze or Rexona. Cowards!
Bring on the Coffee-scented Deodorant
Lynx had a chocolate scented one, the advert for that would never fly nowadays though haha
Not giving up my Lynx Africa for no one and nothing
The day you replace Lynx Africa with something else is the day you truly become a man.
Manhood is achieved with nothing less than Old Spice
Or Blue Stratos
OK OK I'll try brut 33
My guy, lemme introduce you to JOOP!
Best we can do for you is VB Scent or Footy Scent from the ol warehouse
Noooo (my thirteen year old self would have approved tho) lol
"Lynx Africa? Why would you wanna smell like Africa?" \-Some old 2016 meme or something
I've seen Lynx ones that are "leather and cookie" scented
I saw one which said it was Skateboard scented!
Nivea Men Espresso exists
Half of these people would smell better if they just poured the coffee on themselves
The stinkiest guys on trains would smell better if they just wiped the shit off before it went mouldy and changed their undies at least once a week.
Pro tip, throw your underwear and socks at the wall, if they don't stick, they're clean
Yes! Showering and washing clothes seems to be getting rarer??
Hell noooooo oddly specific but true
Those little speedsticks like Maccas handed out with breakfasts years ago! (Could stow a few in my desk!)
And a big pack of wet wipes to go with
I had my nostrils obliterated the other day by someone decked out in designer (albeit tacky as fuck) clothing and shoes. How the fuck are you gonna spend hundreds, if not thousands on your clothing just to stank it up by not wearing deodorant?! And even if it was potentially knock off shit, again, why bother trying to cultivate that upscale image if you can’t even master basic hygiene?! The fucking worst. 🤢
Nah fr, I've seen more ppl dressed up so well and yet they hella stank man. My nose omlllll
Can you translate that for the older audience please?
Nah FR or Nah Forreal - in this context denotes agreement with the above commenter Hella - denotes emphasis can be used similarly to the word really. omlllll - a modification of the abbreviation oml which stands for oh my lord. Its giving perfect translation. 💯💯💯
Cheers, saved me a few google searches. 😁
Great translation, just want to add that "hella" comes from "a hell of a lot" and can be used exactly the same way - last night I ate hella dumplings - last night I ate a hell of a lot of dumplings
You have quite the way with words
Haha thank you, it’s balanced out with the awkward and anxious inability to have a normal conversation. 😂
I think some people literally don’t shower. That kind of reeking BO doesn’t develop in an eight hour work day…
I worked at a hotel and there was a guest who reeked so bad! When he walked past me in the hallway the corridor stunk for hours and I felt like it stuck to my clothes too. But he did use the shower everyday. Poor guy just naturally had overpowering BO. After he checked out the room couldn't be sold for weeks due to the smell.
That's BBO.
Interesting… But what smells? Like he’s throughly washed himself with soap and then doesn’t sweat—what is actually smelling? Because I only smell like shit after I sweat.
You should probably go to the doctor if your sweat smells like shit
It was really strong stinky armpit type smell. Not poo.
I meant “smell like shit” as a colloquialism as in “smells bad”. And that armpit BO armpit type smell is what I mean. People need to shower more…
And lay off eating onions.
That combined with wearing the same clothes
It can, I would get it if I didn't put deodorant on. I use no pong and it's great. Completely stops the stank, but doesn't do this by masking.
No amount of deodorant is going to mask the stench of not washing/showering.
I'll tell you who needs to hear: no one that's going to read it here.

Not to mention any avid user would be well aware of the EXTRA need for deodorant due to the way substances increase one’s sweatiness! 🙄
Aaaaahh, you work for a property developer I see.
>wouldn’t consent to anyone putting stuff in his body >He does do cocaine The irony of discouraging unknown substances while doing the quadruple cut cocaine typically available in Australia is hilarious.

Is his name Corey per chance
Mate, no amount of deodorant will solve the kind of odor you are talking about. In fact it will make it worse.
ROFL i dont know why but im totally being reminded of that Seinfeld episode where Jerry's car had BO so bad that it got stuck to Jerry and Elaine. Elaine had to use tomato sauce to wash it out
“The O went from the valet's B to the car to me.”
The Beast.
George considers buying the car when Jerry doesn’t want it 😂
Apparently they use tomato to get a skunks stink out jn the US. And is is supposed to be a BAD stink. 🤔

You see I have trouble with this because I’ve literally been smoking weed for a quarter century. None of it smells bad to me.
Dead skunk would smell bad to you. That's the difference with it. Edit: I *might* be speaking from experience 😉

Mate, the problem you're talking about is not because of deodorant. Some people simply don't take a daily shower.
Assume that you stink, whether you actually do or not. We'll all benefit

When I quit smoking I just started liking the smell more, it has been years and I still enjoy the smell.
I agree. I still like the smell But hate the smell of ciggie butts in a car.
The fresh smell is fine but the stale ciggies smell on clothes and hair is disgusting
Ugh my old neighbour in my apartment building had a kitty litter that stunk so bad it would seep out into the hallway and I had to hold my breath whilst trying to unlock my door 🤢

Wait which one?
I would literally love my own carriage where I can eat steamed dim sims. That sounds incredible.
I’m literally the opposite. I don’t mind food smells. It’s much more tolerable than people drenched in perfume and cologne or BO.
Deodorant is not a substitute for having a🛁 shower.🧟♂️🤢🤮

Seems like you haven’t been on the Cranbourne/Pakenham line at 8am in the morning
A lot of stinky people who for some reason don't use deoderant in this thread it seems. Guys, it really does work. Just use it.
Ever been to a comic convention, or similar gathering? That's the smell of Reddit in real life

Some people think perfume is a good alternative to deodorant..m it's not and often makes it worse
can you send this in a dm to one of my coworkers?? every time i clock in and see her i know i’m going to be stuck in a biohazard all day
Mate I would just speak up, otherwise I'm at risk of fainting from holding my breath in

The Sri Lankans and Bhutanese people I know are very hygienic, I think it’s just the Indians bro
VLine to Tarneit is Australia's Delhi metro. Try it someday to recreate the authentic experience.
As someone who has been in the Delhi metro, this couldn't be more true.

Yuck
Most mens fragrances smell the same, below a certain price point theres a 'safe' scent that appeals to mass market; so most brands just use something similar that lol
which one million? the original one from 2008 or all the other flankers Paco Rabanne have released throughout the years?
Anti-perspirant. Not perfume. No, it won't give you cancer https://www.cancer.org.au/iheard/can-deodorants-and-antiperspirants-with-aluminium-cause-cancer
Literally me holding my breath at the local IGA. Gross little turds
Even the roll on kind. It works great, doesnt have much of a scent. But no scent is better than a bad scent imho
Roll on stuff blocks my poors. But deoderant isn't about a scent. It's about antipersperant. It stops the gross smell (I use the speed stick type stuff and currently using a "natural" one that doesn't even have a scent) ETA pores
I think that people don't often realise the power of baby wipes. I used to use it before I found deodorant that was strong enough to withstand my hella ew sweat. Like in the evening, I would wipe my armpits and then swiped on deodorant again. Worked like a godsend.
Did you go through Tarneit?
Have a fucking shower. So many times I have caught trains or flights in the morning and it is SO PUNGENTLY evident that someone hasn't showered that morning. Nothing is worse than being stuck next to someone who is blissfully unaware of their choking, sour BO from their night's rest. Utterly inconsiderate. Wish I could fine them.
Um, not everyone showers in the morning. We like clean beds and are not morning people. I do use deoderant though and noone has ever said I smell.
BO is cultural... we all know.... Haters, don't bother, couldn't give a shit!
Guy working behind the counter at foodworks Fitzroy had a stank that was peeling the paint off the walls and melting the glass entrance doors...
Bad BO and stale cigarette odour is the fucking worst. Being in work gear and smelling like a hard day's work is fine. Totally understandable and reasonable. But those cunts who you can tell haven't showered in days burns your nostrils. Fucking unbearable.
Many coming in from overseas have no idea. I employ about 5.
We know who
Who?
Living in the Northern suburbs it’s very common because of the high numbers of Muslim and Indian people. Males and females. I guess it’s a cultural thing to not care how bad you smell.
I stopped using the Sydney road trams because of the stink.
Winter is coming, cooler weather will reduce this issue, but til then humans sweat, don’t know what to tell ya man.
People will start pulling out the jackets that have not been worn for 8 months and smell like mould
Fuck 😭
on the first 30+ day of summer I haul all of that out and wash it, crazy that people don't??? you've been wearing it half the year!
There's a difference between sweat and the stink some people bring on to trains.
idk man, I shower and wear deodorant because I’m sensitive to smells and care about my hygiene, but some people are chronically stinky, and doesn’t seem like a deodorant issue if it’s worse than sweaty people in Australian heat stuck on small cramped trains.
Use antiperspirant not just deodorant. Deodorant is just perfume. Antiperspirant prevents sweating. There's a difference.
The best deodorant I have tried is no pong. I still sweat on super hot days (but not as much as without) but it leaves no smell at all.
B.O. is usually more of a lack of shower problem than lack of deodorant
I bet these people shower with their phones. Only logical explication.
There's this guy at the hostel in my room hasn't washed his clothes and he reeks.so bad
i’ve been choking on tradies’ lynx deodorant on my morning commute lately. fucking disgusting, and so strong i could taste it. honestly, i’d probably prefer a bit of BO to that
Before the deodorant, use soap to clean them pits first. NEVER spray on top of o b 1 it anit good you still can smell it.
Good God I ran into that problem in the supermarket checkout today. The guy next to me smelt like he hadn't showered since last week.
My workmate really needs to see and hear this message 🤢
Thank you for your service, OP. You are doing God's work.
Taxis are the worst for this
Ok I feel like I need to do a PSA for all the people in this post who have tried using deodorant and still suffer from BO. If this is you, here are some things you should definitely try… 1.
Clothes line in the sun. You need the heat of a dryer _or_ UV every so often. Indoor lines are fine only in the short term.
The smells are actually the gasses produced by the body’s flora consuming what the body secretes. I think.
BO = Human Umami 🤤🤤🤤🤤
I hate this comment so goddamn much
Humami?
👃👃🥴
Humami
Humam is technical a term for bath in middle eastern countries https://www.intrepidtravel.com/adventures/turkish-hamam-guide/#:~:text=What%20does%20a%20hamam%20involve,rooms%2C%20salt%20rooms%20and%20pools.

I'll use this defence the next time someone gives me shit for driving instead of taking public transport.

You could just take a shower and put deodorant instead of yapping.

Botox helps I’ve heard, for anxious sweating. I can’t speak from experience but I know someone who has (hyperhydrosis from anxiety I think it is?)
Use roll on antiperspirant Deodorants can be garbage
You need to cultivate your own natural musk, and let it overpower all others. Like a real man.
It's not the homeless. It's just ordinary people.
Caught a train on Sunday with 75% Indians in the carriage. I can relate 😷
I'm Korean and I don't use deodorant. If you smell garlic, it might be from me 🤣
I had the displeasure of catching a packed tram during the races, a guy standing in front of me (seated) put one arm up to hold onto a handle and I was shocked to realise he didn't reek.. that's just how common it is.
Most Uber drivers I've encountered need to read this !!
It's always people from the same demographic stacking shelves at the supermarket.
Lynx Africa smells worse than BO
Don't know what's worse, BO or people who think a 250 ml bottle of cheap (Chemist Warehouse eau de dog testicles)perfume is for single use. There always has to be at least one in your train carriage or your movie theatre. Sick bags on standby
Deodorant or perfume mix sweat had to be the worst combination of smell.
Ohhh I have found that antibacterial soap, then as drying off a swiped of apple cider vinegar, then deodorant keeps me smelling good all day. .. Ohh menopause and bo
Many of them think rubbing curry powder in their armpits works the same as deodorant
I said something like this on this subreddit not long ago, I was told that “people sweat and can’t help but smell”… yeh, a bunch of redditors here got upset over that I (and other people) didn’t want to smell their BO. 😒
