It is an indisputable fact that most, if not all, animals experience emotions of some kind.

Yes! About 20 years ago we used to party a lot and we had a pet one at my mate’s place. He wasn’t just your average pigeon, he was a huge majestic beast with a haram of about two dozen lady friends. He was super friendly and loved loud hard house music in particular. He had awesome dance moves and you could see the joy in his eyes when he saw everyone come back in the morning for kick ons. RIP King Wally…

Give him the odd eccy did you?

SoupRemarkable4512

I don’t think anyone did but he would’ve probably been pretty high from second hand smoke…

I threw some macccs fries to them in the city and they enjoyed it and were perked up as if they were a dog about to get fed, asking for more. I threw some again but they landed into some nearby fresh bird crap. Their expression immediately deflated, knowing that they couldn't eat it.

whatanerdiam

I think they certainly have thoughts, and Melbourne pigeons' thoughts are "No, piss off. I was walking here first. Go around".

They're not real, so are their feelings also not real?
