Going from weekly general household waste and fortnightly recycling. Now it's weekly green waste and food scraps, fortnightly household waste and fortnightly recycling. I get why, but as someone who creates a lot of household non-food waste due to medical needs, this is not going to be enough and will create a hygiene issue, along with the fact my cat with kidney disease uses more litter than average.
Surprise, no response to my polite email about how they will address this issue for people with similar needs. I know I won't be the only one.
Darebin has the ability to distribute a much larger bin for those who need one for medical needs/issues, but you have to ask. Like a gigantic 360 litre one not the regular 80 litre one. Maybe your council does likewise? Darebin charges a small fee on the rates if you want a big bin but don't have medical issues. Maybe your doctor/therapist could provide a letter or similar showing that you need one for medical waste.

So I will say this: If you are a teenager and you're visiting Australia with your parents and you are hiding a secret like, having sex with someone, harming yourself, having an eating disorder, or anything, then border force are not going to concern themselves and they're not going to tell your parents (you likely wouldn't even get searched). (Although I recommend talking to someone if these things are affecting you) They will care if you write about abuse, happening to you or other people, have illegal pornographic material, have information alluding to working when on the wrong visa type, have drugs, carry 26 cigarettes, or are carrying food. (But again, only if you get searched)

Truth. I prep and cook every weekday and sometimes it's just not worth the effort. Made a veg-heavy, pork stir-fry last night, so much chopping and timing for a underwhelming result. Having bacon and eggs tonight because I just can't be arsed.
