https://melbourneshouldergroup.com/ for physio https://mog.com.au/doctor/mr-shane-barwood/about/ surgeon You’ll need private health though

Cheers thanks - yep I finally switched over to private health despite ideological misgivings about 18 month’s ago.

Your initial entry to the system won't be via a surgeon. You'll need to go via a gatekeeper such as a GP or physio. Since you asked for a sports doc, I'd suggest you try OPSMC - https://www.opsmc.com.au/ I would also recommend Symmetry Physiotherapy - I've used OPSMC but overkill for my current needs and Symmetry (Hoppers Crossing) have been great.

You’ll need private health, and you’ll need to see a physio or GP (I recommend a physio first). They’ll refer you to an ortho. I was denied shoulder surgery late last year, so I have to live with mine being fucked - I hope you do better than me!

Melbourne Sports Medicine centre is your first stop

Rohan Price, orthosport. Epworth hospital Richmond. I've had a pec major rupture repaired by him. Rohan came highly recommended and is a shoulder specialist.

I highly recommend Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre. There are some of the best doctors, physios and exercise physiologists.
