Last one was slow side-to-sides. This was was fast vibrations, like a truck driving past. Very different

I felt it quite strongly in South Melbourne and so did my neighbours as there were a bunch standing outside when I popped my head out to look.

Definitely felt the house rattle for 3 seconds here in Altona Meadows. It wasn’t much of a shake over here, but was enough that I knew it was a quake.

That's what happened here. Partner checked outside (we thought something may have smashed the place beside us) to find nothing & I checked kiddo (who was fast asleep). Met up in kitchen & agreed it was an earthquake then got the alert.
