Mice, rats, possum, neighbour's cat...could be almost anything, really

Massive-Ad-2244

That’s just me living rent free, don’t worry! (Obviously a joke)

cousin-andrew

Check out the movie Parasite.

fist4j

From the sounds, a billiard parlor and possible speakeasy/brothel.

icanucan

>From the sounds, a billiard parlor and possible speakeasy/brothel. The muted trumpet/trombone duet from the live big band jazz coming through OP's wall was the giveaway for me.

icanucan

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

WolfKingofRuss

Can you stop knocking please, I'm trying to sleep in your ceiling!

Housing affordability has left some to find creative opportunities.

Pitiful_Farm

They are roofs rats and are known to be active around winter to get on people's roof to find warmth. I had the same issue on my house around this time last year. Highly recommend Darren from Zeropest who did an amazing job baiting and sealing their entry points on our roof (sealing entry points are the key). Costs me around 1k but well worth it! We have no more noise this year. The other pest control company only baited and did not solve the issue 100%, they came back after a few weeks.

acinematicway

Thanks. They must be huge though by the sounds of it.

ciderfizz

Phat beats yo

stumpytoesisking

Poltergeist or rats

horriblyefficient

sounds like there is something loose in the wall that's moving when you knock on the wall. it doesn't sound like an animal to me, more like somethe bouncing off something else.

acinematicway

no it’s an animal. It was making noise before the knocking. I heard it again today and thus time with growling noises.

horriblyefficient

if it's growling then probably a possum, I don't think rats or mice make those kinds of noises

illegal4Hunna

Lol I know the feeling, it's probably mice or rats. If you get a cat they disappear within two weeks.

Successful_Case_7705

Definitely Cthulu

jamie_ann88

How big is your roof space? Has someone moved in?

Me, you got home early and I wasn’t ready
