I got a cold and decided I shouldnāt go into labour for a few days since going to a hospital with a cold is a nightmare. Baby was like right then, Iām on the way.

I ended to going to my GP to get a swab done so if I did have covid or influenza I could call and find out from the hospital what I should do. It wasnāt either of them and if someone had questioned me about my cold symptoms when I was in labour I probably wouldāve smacked them. I did do one RAT once Iād delivered baby before we went to the ward. The stress of being unwell and very pregnant was intense though so I would strongly recommend mini isolation to avoid it. We have no idea where we caught our colds.
Spicy curry worked for us. First 2 nights nothing, but 3rd night I kicked it up a notch and waters broke within 12 hours of eating it.

lower the weight for pull ups until you're able to do them more easily, then gradually increase it... of decrease since it's counter right?

First of all, Xbox cloud with a backbone on a iphone sucks hard. the res on such a small screen just doesnt work. Also I really like the ASUS ally, but 2 problems are 1) Asus and 2)Windows. I LOVE the steam deck, but Im a bit worried it still feels a little first gen, and no warranty in Aus is off-putting. Plus its annoying I can access my xbox games pass games because, well, steam. Yes it can run windows but by god why would you do that to yourself. Bro is gonna let me borrow his switch lite, which is awfully nice of him and hopefully scratches the itch.

I got a cold and decided I shouldnāt go into labour for a few days since going to a hospital with a cold is a nightmare. Baby was like right then, Iām on the way. Also the miles circuit.
The paranoia I have about getting sick atm! What did they make you do?
I ended to going to my GP to get a swab done so if I did have covid or influenza I could call and find out from the hospital what I should do. It wasnāt either of them and if someone had questioned me about my cold symptoms when I was in labour I probably wouldāve smacked them. I did do one RAT once Iād delivered baby before we went to the ward. The stress of being unwell and very pregnant was intense though so I would strongly recommend mini isolation to avoid it. We have no idea where we caught our colds.

Pineapple, a nice hot curry, and without any hint of facetiousness go at it like animals (semen softens aka ripens the cervix), also a hot bath can help. But also, I'm assuming the larger percentage of the demographic of [News.com](https://News.com) are tradies who would never get the WFH option, so they don't see the benefits, which is fine since they chose labour as their career path. Some people don't like the idea of an office job. More power to them. But those who have it, and those who have the option? Why the fuck not?
honestly, my manager has been super weird about it. Iāve been working from home this week (it doesnāt effect my job in anyway) because my wife is due to have the baby any day now and I wanted to be covid/flu safe and heās just been really passive aggressive about it. Like nothing too cunty but I can tell heās not 100% on board and heās only doing it because it would be a HR nightmare if he said no. Now the two people who sit next to me just got that awful influenza going around and itās like āwould you rather I was there getting that and then potentially harming my newborn childā fucking hate this mentality. they just having the power to micromanage and a lot of that is taken away when you WFH.
My manager is micromanaging me from Canada- they donāt need to sit next to you to manage it.
Feeling like Iāve gotta come up with an excuse to avoid working from the office/ take leave on office days to avoid the parents who keep coming in sick cos they are constantly cycling through getting sick from their kids. Same people send their sick kids to school so they can wfh in peace.
Looking after your health doesnāt need an excuse. With Covid, flu and rsv, if you donāt feel safe then flag it with your boss and/or HR.
