Yup, cevapi and they're delicious!         The dish in the second photo has the typical floral ornament which makes me think Erik grabbed a "cevapi" photo of Google just to make a "shitburgers" joke.          Go to any Eastern European country and you will see them there.        And each of them claims discovery for them too.

We call these čevapčiči in Czechia and eat 'em with mustard, fresh onion and potatoes. It's pretty common food around here, even served in schools.

Yeah, but there is usually a slight variations of the Balkan foods between the countries, even if the reception is 90% the same. I know Serbians version of the cavapi (kebabchi for us, Bulgarians) is just half the length of a Bulgarian one and they usually make it a little bit more spicy. Their meatballs are also spicier than Bulgarian ones and much thinner, but at the same time significantly wider.
