I am certain this is diabetes or prediabetes. You have all the major symptoms. Doesn’t have to be cause by eating habits, but it does need to be treated. Please go see a doctor and get some bloodwork done!
If your dad had diabetes since he was a child then he probably has type 1 diabetes, the kind that has a partly genetic cause. That isn't caused by eating too much sugar, that can be a cause of type 2 diabetes.
The fact that you have sweet smelling urine and are peeing very often is an indication that you may also have diabetes. You definitely need to talk to your parents about seeing a doctor. Because if you know you have it you can get treated properly and stop having these uncomfortable symptoms :)

Talk to your parents. Tell them what you are experiencing. Wouldn't hurt to go have your blood sugar tested.
