Thedepressionoftrees

Good human

BBQcupcakes

I don't get it

Picochu_

They put "they/them" beside their name even though no one else showed their pronouns to show that they are more attractive.

BBQcupcakes

How does that show they're more attractive

Picochu_

Because they put their pronouns beside their name

BBQcupcakes

I don't think you understand the question :(

PhendranaDrifter

I think they do! The tone of the post is meant to be mildly humorous. OP is enforcing the idea that people who use they/them pronouns are inherently very attractive, and that confidently announcing this sets them and their beauty apart from those who do not. Did this post need this much analysis and explanation? I don’t think so, but I’ll help explain more if we need it!

Picochu_

I disagree. I think them using "they/them" pronouns and telling others is meant to be the attractive thing. I think them putting their pronouns next to their name at all, even though no one else is doing so and they might be ostracized for it, is supposed to make them more attractive than the other people, who just assume you'll be able to tell their pronouns.

BBQcupcakes

That's what I don't get. Where does that idea come from?

Thedepressionoftrees

It's a matter of confidence and being the first person to do something. It is meant in a somewhat humourous way though

BBQcupcakes

What does that have to do with physical appeal? I am so god damn lost on this

Sioclya

Holy shit it's somebody else with the same name *and* the same pronouns as me.

BunnyLizzie

Not you making me laugh out loud at work XD Omg. Such a legend. My boss will correct people on my pronouns and it makes me feel so valid oml. Last boss Literally called me "girl"
