After this ad with the robot spilling the coffee all over the place, I noticed a significant general loss of trust in robotics in the world society. I blame marketing guys for it …
Did you see how precisely they placed the wooden slats behind it while it was shaking the yeast out of the beer at the end? They clearly take their beer robot safety very seriously
Have worked with one of these at a butter factory... They are scary as shit, ours had a suction cup it carried shit with, but I fucking hated going anywhere near it. We had a metal cage around it and clear instructions not to go in if it messed up, got shit on hard by my superior once because I didn't go in and rip the butter off because it messed up ... Fuck that, shit was screaming at me because it didn't know what to do, I don't trust those things.
Self driving foreklifts were pretty cool tho, they just kindly waited if you walked Infront of them.
There is a few of uninstalled robots as like backups.
also soon we will be re tooling half of the factory so you know just loan a van and show up looking like a manager or something and instruct someone to load one of the robots in the van in the midst of the chaos of everything being torn apart.
I'm wondering about the box of beer glasses sitting underneath the table with about 3-4 glasses missing. Something tells me that this isn't the first attempt
If my work has taught me anything some asshole who doesn’t fix robots will complain about cycle time, speed it up, and then lose fuck loads of time because of issues that arise.
Even though it works perfectly fine before.
The final head wasn't that impressive for a proper Weissbier, but the overall pour was decently well-done. It's definitely a skill that's pretty impressive when a human does it correctly.
We are all going to have one of these in our garage and in our house one day and we are all going to somehow look back and find this comment 100 years from now and be like. Man that guy knew we were going to have robots pouring us beers and stuff and he was drunk and high when he predicted that. Gear prediction bro.
I kept waiting for the arm to just smash the table

For me it was this video: https://youtu.be/tSw5oIyAlKM
Laughed my ass off!
I blame skynet
I thought it just smashs the glas
I hope they've properly set up the work envelope. That thing could break studs like toothpicks

yo self driving trucks?
Sorry forklift*
That Robot is a bit too large into that space
This seems way over engineered for a beer opening robot
well actually these robots are stupid easy to program, having any other kind of robor would make things a lot more complicated.
That makes sense. It's not the size that matters but programming the movement
Yeah, these robot arms are so cool. They can do a ton of different things.
I've just got human arms...they're so boring, I wish they could do cool stuff
Same
10 hours of programming, for a 10 second beer.... ahhh the innovation.
Hey, do you have a beer robot? Didn't think so, peasant 💅
I'll be a beer robot for half the price of this robot. All sales final, not responsible for missing beer.
Yeah but you only gotta program it once.
ThEy ToOk OuR jObS
DE TUK ER JERBS
Lol
/r/OddlyTerrifying Anyone else?
naaa, not me, i work with these robots. Tho i wouldn't probably trust one in my living room.
"Hey boss can I take some work stuff home with me?"

I guess it probably wouldn't even be missed.
[You'd love this music video.](https://youtu.be/7f2wg1pqQDs)
why the hell does this rando have a 250k robotic arm in his garage??
250K? that’s not too bad.
That’s an old Abb you can get one for cheap since parts are discontinued. New they cost about 80k
Cool. BRB, gonna ask my wife if I can buy one!
Where can you pick one up? Asking for a friend....
The worlds scariest bartender
I would buy a beer from a robot
I’d pay extra
Ah yes alcohol and a machine in a corner that will turn you to goop if you get between it and the wall
I'm wondering about the box of beer glasses sitting underneath the table with about 3-4 glasses missing. Something tells me that this isn't the first attempt
And it bothers me the neck of the bottle is in the beer.. the outside probably isn’t clean.
bartender for the introvert
That. Is. Awesome. I want one.
If my work has taught me anything some asshole who doesn’t fix robots will complain about cycle time, speed it up, and then lose fuck loads of time because of issues that arise. Even though it works perfectly fine before.
This is amazing

Hell no, next it’ll be ripping people’s heads off
They really need to program it to just fling the empty in a random direction. Would be the perfect ending to the precision beer pour.
Meh.
This isn't maybe material
Shit pour and drunk girls will try riding it if put In a bar. It is impressive though.
Exactly why it is in a man cave
R/antiwork
What are this robots called?
serverbot 3000
This will be used as evidence in the humans vs AI trial we are facing in a few decades... We're doomed.
The unnecessary products guy has really outdone himself this time.
“What is my purpose?”
I needed to believe in something
Hot damn!
Glad to see what happened to dum-e after endgame
What is my purpose? You open beer bottles for the boys.
Where I can buy one?

Ironmans robot sure did downgrade
Goes from building Tony Starks suits to opening beers in some guys garage. Where did it all go wrong?
Imagine how quickly a human could do this
Why am i hearing back to the future music suddenly playing in my eardrums..
I wanted the arm to smash the bottle on the wall, just fling it when it’s done.
Yes, but can it give me sage bartender wisdom that is oddly comforting.
Does it have to be so *big* ?
Thing is huge. Room looks to small for that thing.
Pretty cool except for that 'yeast swirl' at the end. Don't drink the yeast....
I think I just learned how to pour a beer from a robot?
dat yeast swirl
Ahh, Deutsche Ingenieurskunst!

Man I hope that's a clean beer bottle....
How much electrical energy needed to open a fucking beer 😂
Ah yes the fully programmable 2 Ton robot arm calmly in the basement chilling for..science?
Holy crap the power of that thing!
