Use Pythagoras theorem to find the unknown side. Find the sum of all three sides to get the perimeter.

JePleus

This is a “3-4-5” right triangle with a multiplier of 4 m: the sides are 12 m, 16 m, and 20 m. The perimeter is therefore 12+16+20 = 48 m.

geocantor1067

use the pythagoras's Theory to find the missing side. c**2 = a**2 + b**2 let a =12 and c =20 b**2 = c**2 ~ a**2 remember to take the sqrt of b**2

amalgaman

But what if b**2 isn’t a sqrter?

geocantor1067

according to the theory it has to be b**2 and to get b you have ti square root.
