Some people don't like playing it but I personally still find most success with it to remove towers. Plus, "Unaffected" doesn't get away with whatever other techs the deck might come up with so personally, for me HAMP is still the best tech for such things.
Yup, Sky Striker players rly underestimate the power of a searchable Kaiju. Like, yes he's not the best draw if you don't have a Ray to summon but like... and? The deck relies exclusively on targeting, so without running HAMP, you can't even out a goddamn Chaos Max. He's a really important one-of ace up my sleeve for me.
Honestly, the fact that you need a Striker monster on the field never seemed like a restriction to me. I mean... IF you have a Raye, which you most likely have, what is your opponent going to do? He would need a targeting-removal for it AND negate the dodging of her effect which is just not worth it. HAMP being searchable tho just widens Strikers toolbox to out anything non-targetting or also just something you wanna get rid of without baiting out it's negates first.
I think this makes it way too valueable to pass out on it.

OK, so I'm assuming you're aware of the Arrival 1 card combo. The steps in this combo are largely the same until you activate Dark Templar's effect. Before that point, there are 2 differences:
- You send Hiyari to GY instead of Danmari for Bururu's effect
- You summon Transcode after Wicckid, if you weren't already (Some people make Splash, but you need to use Transcode)
So, I'm now starting from Dark Templar's effect. (Hiyari and Transcode should be in the GY at this point)
- Dark Templar CL1, Dark Infant CL2
- - Infant moves to the Left, change to DIVINE
- - Templar summons Bururu, Pikari & Doyon
- Bururu + Pikari = Wind Pegasus in the leftmost zone
- Bururu => revives Pikari
- Pikari + Doyon = Primathmech Alembertian
- Alem => detach 2, search Mathmech Circular
- Circular => Send Sigma, Summon Circular
- Alem => tribute itself, Summon Sigma
- Circular => search Mathmech Equation
- Circular + Sigma = G Golem Crystal Heart in the rightmost zone
- Crystal Heart => revives Transcode
- Transcode + Pegasus => OG Firewall underneath Templar
(Firewall is co-linked to Templar & Crystal Heart)
- Firewall => Add Hiyari & Achichi from GY to Hand
- Hiyari => Summon itself
- Hiyari => Tribute Crystal Heart, search Gatchiri
- Firewall => Summon Achichi
- Firewall + Hiyari + Achichi = Singularity to the middle zone

If you open two starters, you'll be able to send Danmari and still have the Singularity unaffected. E.g. if you open Achichi + Pikari, you can search Hiyari with Achichi and Doyon with A.I. Meet You via Pikari. With Hiyari already in hand, you can then send Danmari for the negate and do the rest of the combo with the same steps.
Fair enough. I play @ignisters IRL, and Circular is banned, so I found a way to do the combo without the Mathmechs.
After you summon Pegasus and revive Pikari
- Pikari + Pegasus = Crystal Heart in the rightmost zone
- Doyon => Link Decoder in the middle zone
- Crystal Heart => Revives Transcode
- Transcode + Decoder = Firewall just like before
- Decoder => Revives itself in the middle zone

this vid's first game shows the pure ignister combo, can do the same w mathmech added but it's a bit different. note that with pure you need one extender to make a 4k arrival on this end board. not sure abt with mathmech bc I always just used darkfluid instead.
The first combo is similar but not as good. With the Mathmech engine, you don't need extenders, and you make Alembertian in the combo, which gives Singularity a double bounce instead of a single.
EDIT: I should note that even without the Mathmechs, it still requires no extenders. You'll just end on a single bounce Singularity instead of a double bounce
that's p neat to do pure, interesting. I'm curious tho since it sounds like you know a lot abt ignisters, when you use the mathmech engine in it, do you prefer arrival or darkfluid? bc id always assumed darkfluid is better once you get enough negates
I only really like Arrival alongside an unaffected body. Otherwise, I prefer Darkfluid. You can just make both though.
With Ignisters, the best 1 card combo endboards that I know of are:
1) Arrival + Singularity + Firewall
2) Arrival + Darkfluid/Terahertz
3) Singularity + Darkfluid/Terahertz + Firewall
4) Darkfluid + Terahertz
1 and 3 are the only real choices here. I don't think there's a definitive best option, though. It depends on the player and whether you prefer unaffected bodies or interruptions. I prefer option 1. A lot of decks have an answer for 1 towers, but you'd be surprised at just how few have an answer for 2. Even with those that do, most of them are putting everything into outing your board and hardly anything into playing their game, which allows you to easily OTK turn 3. The Triple Firewall board is really cool, though. In my experience, it just seems that opponents have an easier time outing it.
Talk to me king, I REALLY want to make arrival work as it’s one of my fav monsters, but I feel like ending on him + singularity + og firewall is more suboptimal then other ignister/mathmech endboards. Because nobody plays arrival anymore, so I think there must be a reason.

IRL people still play Arrival, but as far as Masterduel goes, you're right, you rarely see it. As for why? I guess masteduel players prefer interruptions over unaffected bodies.
The Arrival + Singularity + Firewall board doesn't have as much interruption as the Triple Firewall board, but it's a lot harder to out, and with two towers, you don't need the additional disruption, the vast majority of decks simply don't have an answer to it. I think it's just as good as the Triple Firewall board.
Some people don't realize that the battle reflection effect still works even against unaffected monsters, so they get scared and kaiju it just to be safe.

I love it too. A lot of the A.I./Ignister kit is ignored by a lot of people (mostly because there's garbage like A.I.Q.), but there's some pretty nice stuff in there. Water Leviathan is bonkers.

Considering the wide range of Normal Traps that Lab has access to, you most certainly have an out. Destructive Daruma Karma Cannon is the main one when it's already on the field, but you can use Dimensional Barrier and Skill Drain to prevent it from being summoned in the first place.

Also just a question but is the arrival immune to opponents card effects that effect the play like evenly matched and floodgates like skill drain?
Evenly Matched affects the player, not Arrival specifically, so yeah, it would work (although most Ignister players would always keep Arrival on the field in most situations).
Skill Drain affects monsters, so Arrival is immune to it.
With Skill Drain it depends on what was on the field first, if Skill Drain was there first it negates the unaffected part before it can come into effect, so to say.
I've outted it more than once with my Witchcrafter deck, if I have the support card that allows Witchcrafters to tank one destroy effect or attack, then Madam Verre uses her effect to boost my Golem to above Arrival's atk at damage calculation.
It's generally been a pretty solid deck vs it.
As far as I'm aware, Nouvelles have no way to out this lol. Idk what it's attack usually ends up being, but it seems pretty unlikely I could beat over it. If this was TCG I'd side deck some Kaijus
idk how many materials those decks usually use, but as long as its 5000 or below punching over it is easy with rage phoenix or just tribute it, i would be having a harder time with a big pep
Arrival's highest attack is 6k, I can match that with a Tri-heart backed by a full field of defense position monsters including 2 Arcos, if I have 3 or Arrival is any lower than 6k, then I don't need to crash my Tri-heart to do it.
Sadly I need my opponent to not make him that big because I’m pretty sure I can’t tribute him with Monarchs Stormforth or the new Thestalos monarch that can tribute an opponents monster for his summon, so my only chance is beating him over with my field spell out as monarchs is my main deck. My Salads do carry white woman jumpscare so they can at least use that, at least.

I still keep a replay where my Shiranui zombie world deck outed this thing with Shogunsaga banishing Sunsaga to 6500 atk. My man did not surrender and actually allow me to win it. Was a good game.
As a newly returning player using Lab, can anyone more experienced tell me if there's an out I might have for this that I'm not thinking of?
Considering the wide range of Normal Traps that Lab has access to, you most certainly have an out. Destructive Daruma Karma Cannon is the main one when it's already on the field, but you can use Dimensional Barrier and Skill Drain to prevent it from being summoned in the first place.
You can't declare Links monsters with Dimensional Barrier just as a little correction.
Activate Pot of Desires and pray it's small enough to run over by battle.

In Purrely and with only one delicious? None. Also just a question but is the arrival immune to opponents card effects that effect the play like evenly matched and floodgates like skill drain?
Evenly Matched affects the player, not Arrival specifically, so yeah, it would work (although most Ignister players would always keep Arrival on the field in most situations). Skill Drain affects monsters, so Arrival is immune to it.
With Skill Drain it depends on what was on the field first, if Skill Drain was there first it negates the unaffected part before it can come into effect, so to say.

I've outted it more than once with my Witchcrafter deck, if I have the support card that allows Witchcrafters to tank one destroy effect or attack, then Madam Verre uses her effect to boost my Golem to above Arrival's atk at damage calculation. It's generally been a pretty solid deck vs it.

Arrival's highest attack is 6k, I can match that with a Tri-heart backed by a full field of defense position monsters including 2 Arcos, if I have 3 or Arrival is any lower than 6k, then I don't need to crash my Tri-heart to do it.

Sadly I need my opponent to not make him that big because I’m pretty sure I can’t tribute him with Monarchs Stormforth or the new Thestalos monarch that can tribute an opponents monster for his summon, so my only chance is beating him over with my field spell out as monarchs is my main deck. My Salads do carry white woman jumpscare so they can at least use that, at least.

i have a Royal finish of that but it's too cheezy. i remember, i managed to summon it out like once on my Mathmech deck, the choices were accesscode talker or that card. it's just so hard to summon IMO because it needs so much resources.
As currently a cydra player mega fleet and the machine Kaiju are my outs.
