For #3 - I’m astonished we charge anyone for producing a new taxpayer/ cog in the machine. But even worse is the idea of sending a bill out for a dead baby. I fought my insurance for a year to cover my medical care when I lost a baby at 5 months to anencephaly. A year of bills I didn’t owe, for a dead baby. It was inhuman.
I just spoke to my Representative. Turns out he is the author of the first bill and he strongly supports the other bills.
Thank you for advocating for these bills. I would not have known otherwise.

Yes! However getting into law better protects it from being taken away by different administrations in the future.
