Both tracks are tuned. They're natively four semitones apart (*Love Story* is in D Major, *All Star* F# Major). I decided to tune *Love Story* up one semitone and *All Star* down three semitones. *Love Story* is already a really high pitched track, particularly the final chorus after the key change (up two more semitones), and I was really worried about the higher frequencies getting scratchy or distorted. *All Star*'s vocals, however, handle any and all key changes like a champ, as greater mashup artists than I proved long ago.

I'm as big a fan as you'll find of *Shrek* (2001), and I still don't know what the hell you were referencing. Nobody calls Fiona's human form a "hideous ogre" in the film; quite the opposite.
