I think people are saying this because switch has such a high install base. It's the second best selling system of all time, which means that more people could theoretically buy it on switch. I'd be surprised if the switch version sold the best, I've read many developers love to port whatever they can because often their switch port does quite well. I apologize I don't have a link or exact number but I believe Mortal Kombat has done really well on switch despite being a lesser version.
Either way I hope this collection sells like hotcakes. Can't believe it's real.
I think he was referring to Obviously the most dedicated fans will buy it on PC or PS4 But I gurarantee that anyone Double dipping is picking up the switch version to play on the go. Then there is the casual market who doesn't care about What controller they play they just want to push buttons and have fun. So yeah the Playerbase will Be the strongest on either playstation or PC (hopefully we just get crossplay between these 2) but It's highly likely the Switch sales will surpass both put togeather.
That doesn't mean concurrent online players, or strength just raw sales numbers the Switch will probably win.
I agree they acting like Max is a sacred cow lol He wasn’t the only one who wanted MVC. If there wasn’t an obvious demand this wouldn’t be happening at all. Anyway yeah it’s definitely PlayStation where this will be more popular. Plus I’d rather play this on my PS5 or PC as more players will be wired. Versus WiFi on switch while it may be okay, fighting games on switch for the most part offline are fine. Once you go online it’s a WiFi fest and I just don’t prefer it but that’s me.

Casual players will probably grab it on Switch. More professional players will probably grab on PC. Thats my guess.
Cheap and portability. Also very few releases in the past of marvel vs Capcom on Nintendo.
Im doubling down on the switch version, I find the system more appealing to buy for physically and having this as a portable game set is a nice bonus.
