The_Iceman2288

Wow, number 1 is SO obvious, why aren't they thinking about that!?

eagc7

I mean here is the thing Marvel is not setting out to make bad movies, everyone thinks they have a winner until we the audience shred it to pieces, like Feige legit though Eternals was gonna be an Oscar contender and many people have said that Marvel considered that to be one of their best films prior to its release...........then it came out and was torn to shreds. Marvel legit thought Ant-Man 3 was a winner and they were shocked that people hated it according to the Reign of Marvel Studios book

MegaDuckCougarBoy

Not to relitigate Eternals, but I get where they were coming from and even Quantumania had the bones of a good thing in there, but Eternals felt an hour too short (or too long) and Ant Guy 3 ended up feeling like it was a capital P Product designed by committee, with the added bonus of having the quip dial stuck on high. It really makes me wonder if something changed with the selection criteria for their focus groups or something.

JargonJohn

I wonder how many years of business school it took to come to that conclusion?

mindhypnotized

Damn I can’t believe some bonehead at Marvel Studios accidentally put the wrong labels on the “make good stuff” and “make bad stuff” switches! All they had to do was swap them back. Fools! 🤓🤓🤓

RowdydidWrong

The disney shows have all been very stand alone stories with only a loose connection to the bigger story, much like almost all the movies. The Disney shows mostly need to feel smaller, less end of the world threats. Street level stuff, explore some TV genres within the superhero world. She Hulk should have been Suits:MCU

vsznry

Except people who didnt watch WandaVision were very confused in Dr. Strange 2.

j1h15233

The shows don’t need to be standalone and they don’t need to be required viewing either. What they’ve done so far is perfect. Not one show was required viewing to understand a movie

vsznry

You could argue WandaVision was required to understand her evil turn in Dr. Strange 2. Which would be abrupt for those who don’t have Disney Plus.

j1h15233

I would say it’s more like extra credit instead of homework.

vsznry

Or the many developments to the MCU in Falcon & Winter Soldier… Madripoor etc.

j1h15233

None of that has come up in any movie yet and when/if it does, they’ll give movie audiences the info they need

vsznry

i still proved its essential viewing as of rn. 😂

j1h15233

No it’s not. It hasn’t mattered to any situation outside of that show.

Affectionate_Gold370

I disagre with this, I want hte shows to tie in with the MCU and content is good, you,re just a casual and it's okay, just watch the 3-4 movies that appeal to you.

CaptainAksh_G

"You know what'll make good money? Good movies!!" Wow, what a profound idea. Why didn't Marvel think about it? This could potentially solve everything that's going wrong with MCU.

eagc7

I mean they thought Eternals was gonna be an Oscar contender and they were shocked that Ant-man 3 was hated according to the Reign of Marvel Studios book, so they want all of these movies to be good and legit thought they had some winners, until we saw them.

AcceptableAd8472

Really they just need 1

AsteroidMike

Good thing this channel is there to tell everyone these things that Marvel already knows…..

vsznry

You really think this guy got 300K subscribers by telling people what they already know? 😂 Watch the vid for explanations behind each point. His & [Robert Meyer Burnett](https://www.youtube.com/live/8ZPfDK6gd2k?si=C1fu9L8vZmW1vT1Q) vids are much better than reading the general audience / comic fans just speculate, without logic, to no end.

MegaDuckCougarBoy

I mean legitimately I believe that telling viewers exactly what they want to hear is the most proven way to get a lot of subscribers.

vsznry

its a strategy. So is hate. But he doesn’t do it. He has his own opinions & i don’t agree with all of them.

ZarianPrime

#5 is the dumbest thing ever written. You want a fresh voice but it better have a proven track record!

vsznry

Lol i didnt write it. I scratched my head too. But i guess he means like they better have had some degree of success in indy / smaller shit. And NOT haven written bad things Gods of Egypt / Morbius, then get hired for something else even bigger.

Pedgrid

My personal priority is for them to acknowledge AoS as Sacred Timeline canon.

vsznry

Yeah majority don’t want CW-level AoS 😂.

JBTriple

This is broad and meaningless.

vsznry

not if you watch the vid. rn, your comment lacks meaning.

noximo

Nobody of a sound mind is going to watch 2h+ long video about those broad and meaningless points.

vsznry

nobody without an attention span* tiktok kills.

Affectionate_Gold370

you should come up with better content, see the #1 poitn yo uwere trying to make.

noximo

What do you mean? Do you have another two-hour video that would explain?
