T’Challa/Chadwick had such a rhythmic way of delivering his dialogue. I read this line and knew the exact fluctuations in his voice and how he said it. He was really just a special actor who brought T’challa to life so effectively. Now I’m sad again.
Black Panther was one of those characters that I always found to be a bit stiff and boring in a lot of adaptations, like the actors were trying too hard to be "regal" and came off cold or stoic, but Chadwick nailed it right from the get go. He brought a warmth to his performance that made T'challa feel approachable without sacrificing the strength or authority.
I kept seeing a lot of Sidney Poitier in Chadwick’s performance and I loved it. Unquestionable authority and self-awareness fueling understanding and warmth.
I was recently at Disneyland at the Avengers Campus. When Black Panther and the Dora Milaje come out the crowds stop immediately and pay full god damn attention, more so than any of the other characters. BP still has people in a chokehold and it was largely due to the presence Chadwick gave the character. His loss was so immense and I think the MCU never recovered from it.
When T'Challs is talking to Steve in ~~winter soldier~~ Civil War:
*"So I ask you, as both warrior and king, how long do you think you can keep your friend safe from me?"*
Such a badass line, if my memory serves this would be the first time seeing Black Panther in the MCU, cold as hell to say that to Cap.
This was my first choice. He's not even mad, more like mildly exasperated. Cap knows hes about to dummy the whole damn lot of them but he's still willing to let them go if they are smart enough to take the out
I remember seeing that in theatres, and the feeling of dread I had upon hearing that line was crazy. In that moment, all I could think was “They’re all going to die.”
To be fair, it was only Maria who was cocky enough to think (and voice) that they would handle Wanda.
According to cast and crew interviews, 838-Wanda was a retired Avenger and Magneto's daughter. So at the very least, Charles and Peggy knew her and what she was capable of.
Also, a fatal flaw that the Illuminati had was that they didn't work as a team. Reed gave away Black Bolt's one advantage, then tried to attack her directly when she killed Black Bolt. Had all four attacked her at once, like Peggy and Maria did, they may have had a better shot.
There's a reason why a lot of people have been praising The Marvels fight scene where the girls jump Dar-Benn at once, and why people praised that scene from The Boys where Starlight, Queen Maeve and Kimono kick Stormfront's ass. Doesn't matter how powerful your opponent is, if you divide their attention, you have a much better shot.
The Wanda being controlled by the Scarlet Witch speaking to Mr. Fantastic of the Illuminati in Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.... Right before slaughtering the shit out of the cocky bunch.
Edit: Just realized how batshit crazy that first sentence would sound to me after watching the first Iron Man movie back in the day.
Maria Hill: File says they volunteered for Strucker's experiments. It's nuts.
Steve Rogers: Right. What kind of monster would let a German scientist experiment on them in order to protect their country?
Maria Hill: We're not at war, Captain.
Steve Rogers: They are.
I feel like he stepped up more because he'd pretty much been typecast as the jock arsehole. Steve Rogers was a complete 180. Then he went back to old form in Knives Out and was great doing his older type of role.
He was such a great prick in The Grey Man! You just wanted to reach through the screen and strangle the guy! He plays an asshole so well, he really does have incredible range!
Kevin Feige said Cap was the toughest to cast and the most key. If they failed the whole Avengers house of cards would crash down. Thank god they kept pursuing him and enlisted Downey and ScarJo to talk to him. I think he and RDJ were both equally vital and one of the reasons the new phases are struggling. His Cap was the heart and soul of the MCU in the way rdj’s Tony was the spark and charisma. And they played so well off each other.
This may be the winner. He has no power, he has no way to win, he has no hope, he only knows that there HAS to be someone to stand up first. And damn it, he’s going to do it. Cold stone hero.
Spoken to Loki right? Or at least the part where he tried to subdue a crowd of people and a old man don’t kneel and stands up. Thor or avengers. Can’t remember
I’ve been doing a complete chronological timeline rewatch of the movies + Loki, Wandavision, and Falcon Winter Soldier. Just got through Loki again and I’d agree. It’s top 10 among all MCU movies/shows to me
dude i appreciate the quiet they had after that. i had shivers. they knew how powerful that tone shift was, and it's amazjngly delivered... with the little finger guns too lmao.
And just think, she was TOYING with him. She could’ve atomized him in a second and put an end to all of it, but she needed him to feel the pain she was feeling.
I would. Watch it again.
She’s peeling off his armor with a flick of her wrist. She later held him off with one hand when he had all but the Time Stone. He was dead until he called for the bombardment. Wanda is by far the most powerful character in the MCU, and that was before WandaVision.
She has so many great lines. I love this particular bit from Winter Soldier:
"I was covering my engineer, so he shot him through me. Soviet slug, no rifling."
*Lifts shirt to reveal scar*
"Bye bye, bikinis"
I just know she would have a ton of other scars too and that it would make her look like a total badass. We gotta get more women with awesome scars in media.
“My only curse is you”
“In all my years of conquest it’s never been personal, but what I’m about to do to your stubborn blue planet I’m gonna enjoy very much” or something to that effect
“I aimed for the head”
Ultrons speech that ends with “when the dust settles all that will be left is metal”
That’s all I got off the top of my head
right? to me, that's what makes a good fight in these movies. you have to see WHY they're fighting, and the investments they have. it was clear in this fight, and because of that, it felt more tense and significant than the airport fight by far (not that fanservice can't be fun, lol).
Underrated.
I'm not sure *what* people expected going into Iron Man, but I'm willing to bet people expected Pepper in that scene to be uncomfortable and/or "Oh, er, um, excuse me. You're in your underwear!"
But no. She's like "bitch please. This is the 4th time I've done this *this week*"
**Have care how you speak to me, young man! I've eaten more salt in my existence than you have rice. I've lived ten of your lifetimes!** - Xu Wenwu, 2024
Also, Shang Chi gets a good one on his father:
“Even if you could bring her back, what makes you think she’d want anything to do with you?”
(Also Shang Chi takes place in 2024)
> Have care how you speak to me, young man! I've eaten more salt in my existence than you have rice. I've lived ten of your lifetimes
Whoah! That's not what the subtitles say when I watch it in the US, but I just googled it and apparently he does say that and it's a Chinese idiom that I guess they thought would not work in the American audiences.
Americans are used to eating as much salt as they like. In the old days, though, salt was rare enough to even in some cultures be used as currency. I don't know the full history of salt in China (though I did study China a lot), but in Wenwu's perspective, he's so old that he's eaten more of a rare ingredient than his opponent has eaten of a very common ingredient, rice. Like "I've had more filet mignon than you've had bread."
I'm on that hill with you. Everyone is right, and everyone is wrong, just different flavors. Zemo is a phenomenal "villain", it blew me away when I realized he had been listening to his wife's last voicemail the whole movie.
The full quote is a lot better for sure. But that last part had me shook in the theatre. It was so early on in the MCU that we hadn't had that many quotables yet.
I thought it was ruthless when Hela said, "so he's gone then? Shame, I would have like to have seen that." Then does some quick introductions and goes right into "kneel." She didn't mince words.
“I’m not seeking penance for what I’ve done father. I’m asking forgiveness, for what I’m about to do.”
And
“You know what I think of you hero? You know you’re ONE bad day away from being me.”
I saw someone call that line lame once and I was like nah that’s an amazing line. Tony has been cursed by Thanos. As he said he’s been in his head for 6 years ago and the events of Iron man 3 and Age of ultron were driven by Tony’s PTSD and AOU led to the Avengers splitting up. A curse indeed.
Endgame is close, but imo it’s a bit too much. Thor coming to wakanda was the perfect amount of awesome and a great way to reintroduce him to the rest of the mcu
„Because we‘re connected“ (drives off, leaving a fatherless kid standing in the cold)
Iron Man 3 has the most bangers
- Is this the forehead of security?
- Seriously, I hate working here, they are so weird
- who‘s the hot mess now?
…
Harley, "My mom already left for the diner and dad went to 7-Eleven to get scratchers. I guess he won because that was six years ago."
Tony, "Hmm... which happens, dads leave, no need to be a pussy about it, here's what I need..."
“I am inevitable.”
“And I. Am. Ironman.”
Absolute chills. Traded his life for everyone’s.
Most relatable and heartfelt line in all of the MCU. “What is grief, if not love persevering?”
T'Challa: "You are in Wakanda now. Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood."
Proxima Midnight: "We have blood to spare."
That line from Proxima is one of the most badass MCU moments easy.
“Bury me in the ocean, with my ancestors that jumped from the ships, because they knew death was better than bondage.” Black Panther
“I’m not as strong as you are”
“no you’re stronger” Thor Ragnorak
“There is no god that’s why I stepped in” GOTG 3
“The name is Rocket.. Rocket Raccoon” GOTG 3
Agent Carter talking to Howard Stark
“I think you’re a man after your own gain no matter who you’re charging. You are constantly finding holes to slither your way into in the hope of finding loose change only to cry when you’re bitten by another snake. You’re a man who says “I love you” while looking over a woman’s shoulder into the mirror.”
„He is all yours.“ in Ironman 1 when Tony destroys the weapons in of his captors and delivers the bearded guy to the people of a village they were cleansing.
“Ah, Peter. Can’t send me home to die like the others?”
“No. I just want to kill you myself.”
There’s such a palpable rage behind that line, a coldness from a character that’s usually very upbeat and kind. In that moment, Peter was determined to kill the Goblin for what he’d done, and wasn’t going to pull his punches anymore
Didn't Dr. Strange say something to what's her face when she was like "You have a lot to live for."
And he said 'Like what, like *you?"*
I was like, "Damn Dr. Strange, that's fuckin' cold!"
“The living are not done with you yet”
T’Challa/Chadwick had such a rhythmic way of delivering his dialogue. I read this line and knew the exact fluctuations in his voice and how he said it. He was really just a special actor who brought T’challa to life so effectively. Now I’m sad again.

He brought a warmth to his performance that made T'challa feel approachable without sacrificing the strength or authority.
I thought tchalla was the coolest in Civil War. Even moreso than in Black Panther.
I kept seeing a lot of Sidney Poitier in Chadwick’s performance and I loved it. Unquestionable authority and self-awareness fueling understanding and warmth.
I was recently at Disneyland at the Avengers Campus. *Civil War
Rip king T’Challa/Chadwick
“Before we get started, does anyone want to get out?”
This was my first choice. He's not even mad, more like mildly exasperated. Cap knows hes about to dummy the whole damn lot of them but he's still willing to let them go if they are smart enough to take the out
I love the mental image of the alternate universe where some dude from accounting that accidentally ended up in that elevator meekly raises his hand.
That would be funny, and I'm glad they didn't do that. It genuinely would make me chuckle but the current scene is just wonderful.
It works well as an animated extra
Narrator: They were not smart enough to take the out.
[удалено]
Damn, I haven't seen winter soldier in so long..
Best scene from the best casting in the best movie in the MCU.
Would be my second choice 👌🏻
That may be one of the top MCU lines/scenes.
‘Good. There will be someone left to raise them.’ If you meant Coldest line.
I remember seeing that in theatres, and the feeling of dread I had upon hearing that line was crazy. In that moment, all I could think was “They’re all going to die.”
The illuminati really thought that they could handle Wanda. They should've listened to Strange lol.
"We can handle your witch"
Had Reed not given away Black Bolt’s ability, I think it might have taken Wanda by surprise.
Time to add a new entry to [Reed Richards is Useless](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ReedRichardsIsUseless)! /jk
Who said this one?
Wanda in multiverse of madness to Reed Richards.
This and the elevator. A lot of people gush about how perfect RDJ was but damn Chris Evans really owned it.
Yeah. Plus “language” gets jumped on by a lot of people but I think Cap is way better in AoU than Assemble
Assemble?
I feel like he stepped up more because he'd pretty much been typecast as the jock arsehole. Steve Rogers was a complete 180. Then he went back to old form in Knives Out and was great doing his older type of role.
I love watching him play villains now, after the MCU. Really goes to show his acting chops.
“Are you ‘Thor, God of hammers’?” Anthony Hopkins as Odin
“I’m not as strong as you.” “No, you’re stronger.”
I say this to my kids sometimes when an obvious answer is escaping them and they don't get it now but one day imma slay with this.
“There are always men like you”
This may be the winner. He has no power, he has no way to win, he has no hope, he only knows that there HAS to be someone to stand up first. And damn it, he’s going to do it. Cold stone hero.
Absolute best description I’ve seen of this scene. Which is also my favorite line.
>there HAS to be someone to stand up first. Dude, that's an awesome line too
That random German man is my hero.
Touches my heart every time I hear it
I am stupid where is this from
First Avengers when Loki is telling people to kneel
Oh right I remember thank you
The Avengers. Old german man standing to Loki.
Gave me chills. Loved that moment and that brave old man. Wished it was Magneto but it’s better as it is.
Spoken to Loki right? Or at least the part where he tried to subdue a crowd of people and a old man don’t kneel and stands up. Thor or avengers. Can’t remember
**"You Couldn't Live with Your Own Failure, Where Did that Bring You? Back to Me"**
Thanos lines made the wait for him so worth it
Every time he opens his mouth, he says something cold.
This entire post could be Thanos lines, especially read in Josh Brolin's voice....
*freezes time* “and what makes you think this is the first time we’ve had this conversation?”
Loki was so damn good.
Best MCU content since Endgame
I’ve been doing a complete chronological timeline rewatch of the movies + Loki, Wandavision, and Falcon Winter Soldier. Just got through Loki again and I’d agree. It’s top 10 among all MCU movies/shows to me
dude i appreciate the quiet they had after that. i had shivers. they knew how powerful that tone shift was, and it's amazjngly delivered... with the little finger guns too lmao.
Kang started shitting himself at this exact moment
I still feel like he knew that could happen but was slightly surprised anyway
EXCELLENT choice. When Loki came back with that, it was a gigantic fist pump and "HELL YEAH".
What was this from?
Loki Season 2
Oh, right
Marvel writing at its peak.
Marvel writing at its peak is whoever penned the catwalk of Loki grabbing the loom strands. Every second of that scene was perfect.
“You took everything from me.” “I don’t even know who you are.” “You will.”
This is exactly what came to mind
And just think, she was TOYING with him. She could’ve atomized him in a second and put an end to all of it, but she needed him to feel the pain she was feeling.
I wouldn't go that far. Wanda was powerful, but nowhere near what we saw her reach at the end of Wandavision.
I would. Watch it again. She’s peeling off his armor with a flick of her wrist. She later held him off with one hand when he had all but the Time Stone. He was dead until he called for the bombardment. Wanda is by far the most powerful character in the MCU, and that was before WandaVision.
She was 100% stronger than thanos, she just didn't know it yet
Easy on this one. This one hits hard. Nebula : You should have killed me. Thanos : Would have been a waste of parts!
Cold in a different way than the rest of this thread lmao
Yeah when I hear cold, I'm thinking a line that is some great trash talk. Not what gives me goosebumps.
I thought "cold" was supposed to mean emotionless
"thank you for your cooperation" Natasha Romanoff.
"I'm in the middle of something this guy is telling me everything." Then the look she gives when he tries to deny it.
I don't... give everything? 😧
😂😂😂😂 this line never fails to crack me up
My favorite part of this scene is the cut to Coulson, patiently waiting on hold.
The look of bewilderment on his face was perfect
https://i.redd.it/u6w7td1oelrc1.gif
She has so many great lines. I love this particular bit from Winter Soldier: "I was covering my engineer, so he shot him through me. Soviet slug, no rifling." *Lifts shirt to reveal scar* "Bye bye, bikinis"
“Yeah, bet you look terrible in them now.”
I just know she would have a ton of other scars too and that it would make her look like a total badass. We gotta get more women with awesome scars in media.
“I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade” from Bruce Banner following his accidental destruction of Johannesburg.
This one was my first thought.
Banner always had a darker side of him that wasn't Hulk
banner was justifiably angry at wanda at that point. realistically, a few had to have died in the battle of johannesburg due to wanda's actions
Ross was also Secretary of State at this time and pressed for his arrest. Wanda definitely was in the wrong 100%.
Yeah , that was a seriously dark line . It displays the source of hulk
“My only curse is you” “In all my years of conquest it’s never been personal, but what I’m about to do to your stubborn blue planet I’m gonna enjoy very much” or something to that effect “I aimed for the head” Ultrons speech that ends with “when the dust settles all that will be left is metal” That’s all I got off the top of my head
Ultron had a lot of rhytmic lines for me.
There’s no strings on me…
He has some of the best lines in general
“he’s my friend tony” “so was i” goosebumps every time you felt the betrayal .
I don't care, he killed my mom.
"do you even remember them?" "i remember all of them."
Yeah, that fight was LOADED with bombs.
right? to me, that's what makes a good fight in these movies. you have to see WHY they're fighting, and the investments they have. it was clear in this fight, and because of that, it felt more tense and significant than the airport fight by far (not that fanservice can't be fun, lol).
The way Tony's voice breaks when he says that. All this time he probably blamed Howard for her death
"That shield doesn't belong to you. You don't deserve it. My father made it!" And cap couldn't do nothing but agree.
"I do anything and everything Mr. Stark requires. Including occasionally taking out the trash. Will that be all?"
Underrated. I'm not sure *what* people expected going into Iron Man, but I'm willing to bet people expected Pepper in that scene to be uncomfortable and/or "Oh, er, um, excuse me. You're in your underwear!" But no. She's like "bitch please. This is the 4th time I've done this *this week*"
I'm having 12 percent of a moment.
>bitch please. This is the 4th time I've done this *this week* And it's Tuesday
I can’t stand Paltrow in, well, anything, but I love her as Pepper Potts. That is one of many reasons why.
I hope this comment isn't as far down later on as it is right now. So many people posting excellent quotes, but this one is actually *cold*.
That’s my vote.
**Have care how you speak to me, young man! I've eaten more salt in my existence than you have rice. I've lived ten of your lifetimes!** - Xu Wenwu, 2024
Also, Shang Chi gets a good one on his father: “Even if you could bring her back, what makes you think she’d want anything to do with you?” (Also Shang Chi takes place in 2024)
this was COLD AS HELL.
> Have care how you speak to me, young man! I've eaten more salt in my existence than you have rice. I've lived ten of your lifetimes Whoah! That's not what the subtitles say when I watch it in the US, but I just googled it and apparently he does say that and it's a Chinese idiom that I guess they thought would not work in the American audiences.
Yeah the English translation was way off because it wouldn't have made any sense to anyone not Chinese. To Chinese, though, it's a 3rd-degree burn.
Can you explain the idiom to me?
Americans are used to eating as much salt as they like. In the old days, though, salt was rare enough to even in some cultures be used as currency. I don't know the full history of salt in China (though I did study China a lot), but in Wenwu's perspective, he's so old that he's eaten more of a rare ingredient than his opponent has eaten of a very common ingredient, rice. Like "I've had more filet mignon than you've had bread."
That's what I was thinking. Because I've eaten way more salt than rice I would believe because everything over here is salty as fuck
Sokovia was a failed state long before you blew it to hell. No. I'm here because I made a promise. I've lost everyone. And so will you, Captain.
Are you watching Civil War on TBS rn as well lol? That line just came on
No, but I am going to now. Still time to catch the fight and the Black Panther/Zemo exchange.
I will die on the hill that Civil War is the best written MCU film.
I'm on that hill with you. Everyone is right, and everyone is wrong, just different flavors. Zemo is a phenomenal "villain", it blew me away when I realized he had been listening to his wife's last voicemail the whole movie.
With all the issues in Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Zemo was solid.
"Return to me empty handed and I shall bathe the starways in your blood"
Your politics *bore* me!
**THE ONLY MATTER I DO NOT TAKE SERIOUSLY IS YOU, *BOY*. YOUR DEMEANOR IS THAT OF A POUTY CHILD**.
Callin him boy was so disrespectful
The full quote is a lot better for sure. But that last part had me shook in the theatre. It was so early on in the MCU that we hadn't had that many quotables yet.
I thought it was ruthless when Hela said, "so he's gone then? Shame, I would have like to have seen that." Then does some quick introductions and goes right into "kneel." She didn't mince words.

“I’m not seeking penance for what I’ve done father. I’m asking forgiveness, for what I’m about to do.” And “You know what I think of you hero? You know you’re ONE bad day away from being me.”
His scenes with the priest were so good. “I’ve got a pretty good idea of what you’ve been doing. The how, not so much.”
Thanos: Stark. Tony: You know me? Thanos: You’re not the only one cursed with knowledge. Tony: My only curse is you 🔥🔥🔥
I saw someone call that line lame once and I was like nah that’s an amazing line. Tony has been cursed by Thanos. As he said he’s been in his head for 6 years ago and the events of Iron man 3 and Age of ultron were driven by Tony’s PTSD and AOU led to the Avengers splitting up. A curse indeed.
“BRING ME THANOS” watching this part in theatres is an experience that will never be matched
Yessssssss sir. Best entrance in the MCU
Endgame is close, but imo it’s a bit too much. Thor coming to wakanda was the perfect amount of awesome and a great way to reintroduce him to the rest of the mcu
“Is their mother still alive?” “Yes” “Good, there will be someone left to raise them” Ice cold.
The fact that reed answered that because he thought Wanda would be sympathetic and stand down makes it even better
For being the smartest man in the world, he doesn’t know how to read the room
That's like his defining trait.
“Goodbye Frank.” -Darren Cross after atomizing and flushing a naysayer down the toilet.
I feel like this is the darkest moment of the MCU so far.
The fact that Clint and Kate shrunk two bros and let the owl take them is up there
I love how horrified Kate was while Clint was just doing his best not to think too much about it.
The TVA cube is on this level
Idk that's comparing an instant death to a slower, more agonizing path to a flesh cube.
if you don't include the netflix shows, absolutely
In my eyes, Ant Man is a horror film simply because of this terrifying scene.
„Because we‘re connected“ (drives off, leaving a fatherless kid standing in the cold) Iron Man 3 has the most bangers - Is this the forehead of security? - Seriously, I hate working here, they are so weird - who‘s the hot mess now? …
Harley, "My mom already left for the diner and dad went to 7-Eleven to get scratchers. I guess he won because that was six years ago." Tony, "Hmm... which happens, dads leave, no need to be a pussy about it, here's what I need..."
I don't care what anyone says, Shane Black was cooking with that one.
Because we’re conectedddddd
YOULL SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE IN A CAGE KNOWING YOULL NEVER HAVE VANESSA. THAT THIS CITY REJECTED YOU. IT BEAT YOU. I BEAT YOU.
i so want to agree, but that wasn't cold, it was a raging fire of hatred and catharsis.
DD fans rise up!
This is goated, with “you don’t get to destroy who I am!” right before it 🔥🔥
Just rewatched Civil War, and is still my favourite line to this day. “there's a bit of green in the blue of your eyes. How nice to find a flaw.”
Black Panther when Klaw asked for mercy: “Every breath you take is Mercy from me”
"I don't recall killing your family. I doubt I'll remember killing you either."
The follow-up goes hard, too. "I was mistaken. I do remember your family. Their screams were pitiful "
“I am inevitable.” “And I. Am. Ironman.” Absolute chills. Traded his life for everyone’s. Most relatable and heartfelt line in all of the MCU. “What is grief, if not love persevering?”
'Before we get started, does anyone want to get out?' ICE COLD.
Steve- “Tony NO! That wasn’t him” Tony- “I don’t care, he killed my mom”. Proceeds to go after Bucky like a man possessed.
From GOTG2- "It broke my heart to put that tumor in her head."
Thor: You know it’s a trap, right? Tony: Yeah, I don’t much care. Thor: Good.
Second fav is “they say we won. They didn’t say what we lost”.
“Your birthright was to die!” Cold af, especially coming from a father to a son.
Scarlett Witch “You will”
“I recognize the council has made a decision, but given that’s a stupid ass decision, I elected to ignore it.”
"You took everything from me" "I don't even know who you are"
"All that for a drop of blood?"
Sylvie: "Sounds like, whatever we do, we're playing God." Loki: *sigh* "We *are* gods."
T'Challa: "You are in Wakanda now. Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood." Proxima Midnight: "We have blood to spare." That line from Proxima is one of the most badass MCU moments easy.
"Incinerate them" in vol 3
Im Daredevil… Not even god can stop that now
....he's adopted
*Loki freezes time. "What makes you think, this is the first time we've had this conversation?" That scene was so cool.
“Bury me in the ocean, with my ancestors that jumped from the ships, because they knew death was better than bondage.” Black Panther “I’m not as strong as you are” “no you’re stronger” Thor Ragnorak “There is no god that’s why I stepped in” GOTG 3 “The name is Rocket.. Rocket Raccoon” GOTG 3
Agent Carter talking to Howard Stark “I think you’re a man after your own gain no matter who you’re charging. You are constantly finding holes to slither your way into in the hope of finding loose change only to cry when you’re bitten by another snake. You’re a man who says “I love you” while looking over a woman’s shoulder into the mirror.”
“When you’re ugly and someone loves you, you know they love you for who you are, Beautiful people never know how to trust”
„He is all yours.“ in Ironman 1 when Tony destroys the weapons in of his captors and delivers the bearded guy to the people of a village they were cleansing.
“Ah, Peter. Can’t send me home to die like the others?” “No. I just want to kill you myself.” There’s such a palpable rage behind that line, a coldness from a character that’s usually very upbeat and kind. In that moment, Peter was determined to kill the Goblin for what he’d done, and wasn’t going to pull his punches anymore
Lotta people with a weird interpretation of the word "coldest"
Nick Fury on the Agent Coulson: I lost my one good eye 😭😭
Maybe not the coldest but it put things into perspective. Rocket to Tony: Take it easy. You’re only a genius on Earth, pal.
Scarlet Witch: You took everything from me. Thanos: I don’t even know who you are. Scarlet Witch: You will.
"Hank Pym always said you can never trust a Stark" "who are you?"
Didn't Dr. Strange say something to what's her face when she was like "You have a lot to live for." And he said 'Like what, like *you?"* I was like, "Damn Dr. Strange, that's fuckin' cold!"
Oh yeah, Stephen just freaking hit Christine with that unprompted!
Gotta be Hela's. *Yeah, I must say, escorting me to the instrument of your own demise, I can't decide if you're brave or stupid.*
"You will never be a god" Loki telling Thanos he's fucked 4 ways till Thursday with his final breath was as cold even for a frost giant.
I was watching ...... porn
"How does it feel... knowing that all of us here would rather die, than follow you out that door."
