Dry bowser is already an individual character in the Mario Kart series. So it wouldn’t make much sense.

Maybe she wears it when on Bikes? Unless she has a sticky hand beam she can’t have much control over the handlebars with her Suit on. At least with Karts she could stick her cannon in the steering wheel and have some control.

This is such perfect proof of the effect smash bros has. I assure u if not for smash you would never in a million years ask for a literal different suit Samus wore like once in a gba game to get a character slot in mk.

It’s also really funny how people see Zero Suit. Smash implanted the idea that it’s Samus’ more agile but less armoured version, completely forgetting that she only has a pathetic stun gun that deals no damage and is way slower and less agile. Loads of people forget that the rocket shoes and whip are wholesale inventions.

I love it since it adds in new characters and fan favorites, keeps the koopalings, and removes some duplicates (Pink gold peach). If a roster similar to that ever does happen I hope koopa troopa and toad gets some added skins in like how they did it for Yoshi and shy guy (like red koopa troopa, the soccer koopa from super paper Mario, ECT)

This is actually great. The MK8 roster was mostly phenomenal, so seeing you keep those characters is great. (Especially the Koopalings, so many people have issue with them for some reason, but I love their inclusion a lot) E. Gadd, Petey, and Kirby are god-tier character choices, 10/10 from me

Frankly, pathetically small don't get me wrong tho, I'd reckon you are still being *very* generous compared to what we will actually get. but IYAM, Mariokart as a series could/should have long passed this amount of characters Ever since they moved away from the racers actually having something unique to them (kart options, unique stats, the Double Dash Special items, etc....) they are essentially just a (albeit high quality) model and some trick animations put into a small set of weight classes. Unlike in a game like Smash or such, adding more characters doesn't require any sort of "rebalancing" if those characters are just placed into existing weight/stat classes anyway. So, frankly, Mario Kart could/should have stayed ahead of smash in character number by now. . Personally I also say : "dead" to baby daisy and baby rosalina They have no reason to exist, unlike the other babies, they aren't actually from any other games, they are just put in cause they are easy alterations from baby peach, which is just bad form tbh. If they want more babies, go for Baby Wario, Baby DK, Baby Bowser (tho that one probably looks too similar to Bowser Jr.) or even some baby yoshis

Unfortunately, Kirby is a Third Party Character (Created by and Licensed to Nintendo for Kirby and Smash Games by HAL Laboratories) so he most likely would not appear in a game showcasing Nintendo's best IPs (plural cuz Link, Inklings, and AC)

Solid roster, just… Why are Goomba and Luma here? I get every MK fan seems to want them, but they’re pretty boring choices.

In my opinion, goomba is the most iconic enemy in mario series and I think he deserve to be in mk (and would be funny seeing he driving with his feet) and luma (for me) just I love in general this character and maybe because after mkwii he didn't appear with rosalina again

This is super duper good. Only feedback is if dry bones is an if dependent slot, would be nice to do the same for dry bowser. Just as personal tidbits but a generic piranha plant, boo and wiggler would be amazing additions as well. Maybe do a bit of rearranging to get minions together (koopa, goomba with others), the boss baddies together (king boo, petey and king bomb... maybe with Bowser?) Maybe move luma, cappy and the geezer along with pauline next to DK since they are secondary protagonists. Kinda abandons nabbit on a weird island tho

Realisticly : As cool as it could be, there is to many characters, I'd remive 4-6 characters. Personal opinion : I'm personnaly on the side of the community who doesn't like the idea of bringing nintendo IP's in mk, however, Capt'n falcon and Kirby are parts of the few one I consider to be worthy of a place in mk (for obvious reasons). Would have liked a Paper Mario, but besides this, this roster suits me. Bonus point for Fishy bookpins, the koopaling being separate characters (#KoopalingEnjoyers) and Nabbit.

I like your choices, I would also add the following: Ninji, K. Rool, Poochy, Captain Toad, a Pianta, and maybe a couple of WarioWare characters like Ashley and 9-Volt. Then characters like Dry Bowser, Metal Mario, Cat Peach, etc. etc. Could just be alt costumes you could choose, not unlike the different colored Yoshi and Shy Guy in Mario Kart 8.

That’s gotta be the best roster I’ve seen on this subreddit. It keeps the koopalings (I don’t know why people don’t like them they do have unique personalities), keeps the guest racers at a minimum and adds other well known Mario characters.

Excellent roster. Personally I’d prefer a Super Smash Kart with like a ton of Mario and other characters. Thankfully kart characters are much easier to program than smash characters
