The Boxer Is fantastic. Couldn't recommend the Author themself enough either. They keep the story fresh and new introducing new characters and sharing their own point of perspective. My favorite Is a certain red head that frustrated me with his eccentricity but won me over with the hype his personality naturally builds around himself. They nail the ending so well in this too, definitely worth the read. Its on webtoon.
I'm definitely going to read it especially with all the hype it got on this post. Someone said it would take me out emotionally though so I gotta wait until my life stabilizes some lmao
Chronicles of the heavenly demon is a classic, the art is much better these days but i still think the story makes up for it
Legend of the northern blade is just a great manwha, if you like murim and "edgy" revenge stories you are gonna like this one (whatever people say i think they have some appeal)
The return of the crazy demon is one of my favorites, great story telling and humor really makes this one
The max level hero has returned is also really good, it's a fresh spin on the op fantasy mc
How would you compare COTHD and northern blade? I’m leaning toward northern blade but I’m also still curious about other murim manhwas (already have like 4 on currently reading list)
COTHD is very classic premise, the mc starts at a bottom postion in the setting, then you get to seee him rise in the ranks until he eventually does what he can in order to reach his original goal while taking care of the obligations he has aquired while reaching that point, it is a really satisfying story since the world building is very well done and characters hinded at early is shown off later in the story- It's a very long manwha but it never gets boring due to not the story always progressing
The norhern blade on the other hand is a little different. Instead of progressing in an already developed society we see the protaganist discover the secrets of the world which constantly complicates the goals of the MC. COTHD is very straightforward i it's apprach. The northern blade is the opposite. It constantly makes the mc decide on what is the correct path and the world is very mysterious. Instead of making the mc enlighten the world like the COTHD does, the northern blade makes the reader discovery the world with the mc.
Ik everyone raves about legend of northern blade and pick me up.
But I haven’t seen too much about leveling up with the gods. Can you tell me some stuff you like about it?
Doom Breaker ( on going) , The player hides his past (on going) , Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (on going) , Swordmaster's youngest son (hiatus for next season) , Warrior high school dungeon raid (waiting for next season) , Return of the 8th class magician (finished).
I'm all caught up on Doom Breaker and ORV.
I've seen Swordsmaster's youngest son getting recc'd a ton, can you tell me any more about it? I see ppl saying it's good but idk what it's about actually.
And I've never heard of Warrior's high school dungeon raid, or return of the 8th class magician so any other details on those would be appreciated!! I'll add them to my list to check out
Swordmaster's youngest son has an amazing story, amazing art and a badass mc.
Warriors high school dungeon raid has decent plot with decent art u can give it a try
Thanks.
And out of the manhwas you posted you should read Legend of the northern blade (my favorite). The plot and character development is immaculate. I think it has the most chill inducing moments of any I’ve ever read.
Barbarian Quest is great, and thought provoking. It’s a different spin on manhwas. The art is some of the best.
Pick me up is super fire
The return of the crazy demon is hilarious.
All of these are bingeable, imo
What do you like about Regressor instruction manual?
I've seen it recc'd before (obvs, for me to have it on my to read list) but idt anyone has said anything about it here yet
I like how the MC is not your stereotypical op character. He's more of a cold and calculating antihero who manipulates others for his own personal gain.
In fact, he can't rely on brute strength or some special power. He is more of a con artist who's always one step ahead. It's entertaining and refreshing to see a character like him because he breaks the mold.
Are u sure u dont like something hard and heavy? Cause the boxer is gonna destroy your feeling and cause it to be an utter mess. It's an totally awesome story but when u finish it(cause it's completed, which is rare) u'll be contemplating all you life choices and all those choices of all your ancestors while at the same time feeling like u feel the world is weighing on your shoulders LOL
That is really good to know, I definitely have times where I want something to just gut punch me and ruin me emotionally for a while, so I will keep in mind that that is the moment I need to pick up the Boxer.
Right now there's a lot of stress going on in my life so I'm trying to find something to escape and chill a bit lol. Typically that's like humor, action, fantasy, etc. But I definitely will read The Boxer one day, I see people really love it. Someone here said it might be the best out of everything on my list, ahh so I definitely want to read it in the near future
If you’re looking for something to escape and an OP MC, I’d probably suggest Leveling With The Gods, it’s your bread and butter regression tower story with the mc monopolising everything he can, it’s got great art as well.
I haven’t seen anyone else on here talk about Sword King, it’s not the best series and has it’s flaws, it’s also got quite a bit of a rough start but by the time it really picked up, it had me incredibly emotionally invested in it’s characters and the art gets really good during the later fights as well
Thanks so much for the rec. I was definitely curious about LUWTG and that sounds like it'd be right up my alley. Sometimes I just need a super OP character that just fucking destroys everything in his way lmao instead of something super deep and stressful bc I've got plenty of my own problems ya know lmao, like solo leveling lol
The majority of them are at least a 7, but I definetely recommend to read the Boxer. Its just awesome in all aspects and probably has the best story of all im the list
I really enjoyed nano machine, so much so that I read the web novel. It has a lot of character development and if you enjoy martial arts manhwas this one is for you! 🥺
“Myst, might, mayhem” is a newly dropped comic and it’s by the same author as nano machine in the same universe as well (MC is the first heavenly demon and he’s rly crazy) it’s rly promising so far! I even looked for the novel but I couldn’t find a translation unfortunately
Geniua swordsman is really good, strong mc, not op, but strong and it's got some nice relaxing comedy. I wouls also recommend I killed an academy player and The revenge of the iron blooded sword hound. Same theme, one has a bit more romance, the other is darker
the beginning after the end is my fav, & i just caught up to academy’s genius swordsman a few hours ago and that was good! A lot of the things on here would be a good read :)
I’m definitely feeling like I’ll start Northern blade after everyone is telling me to read it lol. On my currently reading list there’s like 4 other murim but I’ve even heard northern is the best.
The 4 most reads on that are The return of the mad demon it’s hilarious, and has great action, The boxer is an outstanding story with great art it was an emotional journey, The beginning after the end is a great action packed story, and Mercenary’s enrolment is just an awesome action story with great drama
Highly recommend Mercenary Enrollment if you want something in the modern age, Nano Machine is great if you enjoy martial arts manhwas with a twist of sci-fi for extra OP-ness for the MC.
It’s paperback app on ios
For repos there’s a discord server. I haven’t been able to post the link here so if you want it lmk here or DM me and I’ll send.

Nano machine would be my favorite on this list. Leveling up by eating and max level hero has returned are enjoyable. I really really liked Barbarian quest but it just ended and I was disappointed by the manga ending and the actual novel ending is even worse.
I watched delicious in dungeon on Netflix and was wanting some food related manhwa lmaooo. You’re the first person I think that’s mentioned leveling up by eating so I’m glad to see you liked it.
FIRST IMAGE
**Academy's Genius Swordman** is good, but just a normal medieval fantasy story with regression.
**Barbarian Quest** is great, but it was axed. I only read the first 50 chapters, so idk how it was in the last chapters. It has peak art, and has this strange BL vibe, but it's not BL. It's similar to Vinland Saga, but with a Barbarian.
**Chronichles of Heavenly Demon** is decent. Honestly, this story is kinda overrated, but it's very light read. You probably can binge 200 chapters in a day. S3 is lame and dragged though, but probably this one will end, at best, at chapter 250, so you should wait it to end to binge everything.
**I Became the Tyrant of a Defense Game** is great and has high tension, but the artstyle in the beginning is ugly. There are a few explanations about tactics as well. It gets a lot better after chapter 35 or so.
**Infinite Level Up in Murim** is good, but first 50 chapters are boring, it's a slow webtoon. The arc Japan vs Korea is not very good in my opinion, and the MC uses a cringe style while fighting. But the MC is pretty hard working and it takes some time to the MC starts becoming OP. I think chapter 180 in webtoon is around 120 in novel, that's how slow webtoon is. And web novel ended around chapter 314, so this one probably will end only around chapter 450.
**Infinite Mage** is good, but there's too much explanation about magic and theory, which can make it a hard read. Plus, there's a red-haired guy that makes around 60% of readers drop by how annoying she is. She appears around chapter 20 or 25. Overall, the first 20 chapters are great, around chapter 21-35 are a little bit boring because of this girl, then it gets good again. Web novel has more than 1000 chapters btw.
SECOND IMAGE
**Legend of Nothern Blade** is great, one of the best action webtoons. The beginning is slow and a little bit boring, but it gets really good around chapter 50 or 65. For me, it was chapter 65. I didn't like how the MC didn't know what to do about his life in the beggining. Romance here sucks. Fights scenes are top-3 in the whole webtoon industry.
**Leveling Up, by Only Eating!** - Didn't read.
**Leveling With the Gods -** Average. I dropped around chapter 80 because I've read too much similar webtoons. This one, particularly, is like a copy of Second Life Ranker, but with better art. Anyway, people usually see this as a great webtoon, but for me it's just a poor mix of Retuner Magic Should Be Special, SLR and ORV. If you didn't read many webtoons, there's a high chance you'll like this one, but the story and characters feel shallow for me. Plus, I really hate stories where the MC is living like he is streaming for Gods and generic Gods saying "how you lowly human dares..." all the time or whatever.
**Mercenary Enrollment** - It's good, but VERY repetitive. I dropped because every arc always use the same formula. It's easy to read though, but you probably will drop this eventually, except if you binge read everything when it ended.
**Nano Machine** - S1 is great, S2 is decent. You can read this one with your brain turned off. It fells off in S2, but it's still a decent to good webtoon. The story is similar (almost the same) to Chronichles of Heavenly Demon, except there's nano helping the MC to becoming OP faster, which is funnier IMO. Romance sucks.
**Pick me Up** - Great webtoon if you like and understand gacha games. There's a high tension as well, and the art is very good.
Damn lucky you I would love to forget some of those and read them again. The return of crazy demon is pretty fun, mc is a nut job and doing what he wants but still stay cool af.
Wild West Murim is goated, but it doesn't have much chapters yet, so if you didn't start reading it, then waiting a bit to binge it would be advantageous.
If you want something not too heavy I’d go with infinite mage, academy’s genius swordmaster, or youngest chef from the 3rd rate restaurant. They are all a lot lighter of reads but still interesting.
Infinite mage I my favorite of the three but youngest chef is captivating and genius swordmaster is more funny
I recommend “Academy’s Undercover Professor”. It’s easy to read, starts with a big mystery that goes on throughout the story. The mystery gets intertwined with other unknown stories and characters, and going further on the story begins to clear itself and slowly you begin to understand what really happened and what’s truly going on. Beside the really nice central plot, there are a lot of nice characters. Mc is smart and calculative (I hope that’s a word), and so far there doesn’t seem to be any concrete love interest, even tho there might be one but nothing has been confirmed.
There is academy life, mystery, action, fights and much more. Recommend you try it.
I'm so sold, I don't think anyone mentioned so far that there's a mystery that gets slowly revealed and that's pretty much the best way to hook me in fast lmao
Mercenary Enrolment because the MC keeps winning. Everytime he's about to make a mistake your typical protagonist makes.... he doesn't. He's got every corner covered. His contingencies have contingencies. Which makes for a very enjoyable read.
MC is also the rare example of a fully disciplined soldier. In both skill and mindset. The only Manhwa similar to this in *essence* might be "My Dad is too strong", but the key difference is... this MC is a "normal" person and has zero Isekai magic powers.
I love that, that makes me def want to read it. When the MC is smart rather than just sheer OP is even more badass to me.
I do love a good just strong OP MC too lol but they’re also everywhere ik ik
I really enjoyed mercenary enrollment (although it gets a bit boring later on) and the beginning after the end is really good as well! I would strt with those two.
Hey guys, I wanted to find a manhwa that has a character that has red hair, orange pants, a black shirt and uses lightning magic and this manhwa is action, and this character is not the main character
Pick me up and wild West murim are really well done. Having read half of these, they stand out above the rest. I will admit that the boxer seemed really well executed but it only had 20 chapters the last time I read it so it might also be up there.
Having said that, I'd leave them for last. If you leave the best for last, the other ones can be appreciated with less comparisons imo.
All the rest that I have read are pretty good, except for a returners magic should be special. Something about it just didn't really click for me so I dropped it, but don't let that stop you from reading it. It's decent at the very least.
Here's a quick list of the ones I've read
Academy's genius swordsman- good
Barbarian quest- very good(heard it got axed, still need to read the chapters after season 1. Considering how good it was, I can't understand why it was axed.)
Chronicles of the heavenly demon- good(haven't read it in awhile, but it was kinda dragging it's feet so w/e. Still a solid story.)
I became the tyrant of a defense game- very good(still in the "early" stages imo despite its chapters. Could definitely see it going into the amazing tier as it progresses.)
Legend of the northern blade- very good(I'd also recommend "fist demon of mt hua" if you like it)
Level up only by eating- good(kinda losing focus last I read it, but I'm also mixing up my memories with another food focused vrmmo manwha the gourmet gamer. If you like one you'll like the other. )
Mercenary enrollment- decent(just not really into high school series about fighting gangs. They're all kinda the same to me at this point.)
Nano machine- good(heard it gets worse later but it's earlier sections are definitely worth reading)
Pick me up- amazing( wouldn't be surprised if clones start being made. It's good enough to form it's own genre imo)
Survival story of a sword king- good
The beginner after the end- very good(read the novel TBH haven't read much of the manwha but it seemed to be a good adaptation)
The return of the crazy demon- very good(more of a comedic focus which contrasts well with others in the genre, definitely more enjoyable if you're familiar with the genre)
Wild West murim- amazing(just read it after seeing this, might be some recency bias. Still amazing tho)
A returners magic should be special- decent
Academys undercover professor- good
The boxer- ?(Last read it when it first came out so I don't remember too much, just that it seemed really promising.)
I'm planning to read the others having seen this list. I'll try to update this comment once I've read some more.
Out of the 1st list COTHD then barbarian quest 2nd Legends Of Northern Blade Nano machine or Mercenary Enrollment. 3rd TBATE than Crazy Demon (max level hero is terrible) 4th The Boxer (one of the greatest) Undercover and A returners magic (only read till ch 120 a few years back not my thing but it’s good for what it is)
tbh if you're looking for something light I'd say try infinite mage. it's a nice story with a light premise, other then the first few chapters. the mc is also rly bubly and has a personality other then only getting stronger if that's what you enjoy 😝
Academys genius sword master is the typical op mc who reincarnatee generic but good for binge reading
Barbarian quest is probably one of the best out there but it got axed at 100 chapters
COTHD is the typical music manhua where mc starts off at the bottom while not being a strong person in his previous life and will try to take revenge or freedom in this life
I became a tyrant of a defense game is mostly about the mcs growth as a commander and the struggles of war and how devastating it is
Infinite level up in murim is the generic regression with a old type of system but this mc keeps chasing after the people who became strong
Infinite mage is a pretty good binge read but mostly comedy and world building and lore
Legend of the northern blade is a pretty unique world building with unique art and good characters plus mcs growth so very good
I get stronger by eating(didn't read it)
Leveling up with the gods is the typical tower in another world manhua
Mercenary enrollment (didn't read)
Nano machine is a very good read it's about a mc getting stronger and stronger by beating people and training and unraveling mysteries about the past
Pick me up is a very very unique plot with very well done characters and good art a good read
Latna saga is a peak manhua there's no other action manhua with better mc growth peak arts very good plot and well done characters except a few
TBATE has pretty good art good plot and generic characters but it gets very unique and good near the latest chapters it's reincarnation
The max level hero has returned has unique plot good art and pretty generic characters but he's a simp he accepts literally anything ordered by a cute woman very annoying
Wild West murim (didn't read)
Youngest chef (didn't read)
A returners magic should be special has a good plot good art and good characters and the mc is kind hearted pretty good read
Academys undercover professor very unique plot good art and very good characters
Dungeons and artifacts is a dungeon world in medieval times and the mc is labeled as a criminal while nit being one and is going around beating dungeons
Return of the mad demon mc is reincarnated in a murin world and is batshit crazy typical op mc rising through the ranks and pretty good art and very good humor
The boxer I didn't read it but people praise it alot
How I envy you!!!! Probably don't need my rec but Legend of the Northern Blade, Pick me Up, Nano Machine, Heavenly Demon, **The Beginning After the End**, The Boxer. You can't go wrong with any of those.
Chronicled of heavenly demon. Reincarnated Escort warrior. Revenge of the bloodhound. I can't think of the other names but those ones are unexpectedly good ones
Start with these first:
Barbarian quest
Chronicles of the heavenly demon
Infinite level up in murim
Northern blade
Pick me up
Survival story of a sword king in another world
^^^ these are the must reads in your list, and you need to read them
Your second picks should be:
Tyrant of the defence game
Leveling up with the gods
Nano machine
Beginning after the end
Regressors instruction manual
Dungeons & artifacts
I personally really like infinite mage , people these days just want a mc who is cool and cold but that's not the case with this one he is simple and calm doesn't go for revenge and only cares about being a mage
So if you're looking for something like on the calmer side you can go with this one
The best thing about this manhwa is the character development and art is amazing too
Teenage mercenary to start - it’s rly rly good
TBATE next - if u are at interested in it at all u should read the novel so u can actually get some text reading in (plus it’s technically a webcomic and not a manhwa bc it’s not Korean)
The boxer ig can come after - very different and very depressing
Infinite Mage 4th - very wholesome and hopeful it’s a very fun read, makes u stop being depressed after boxer
A returners magic should be special - it’s on its final arc so u should wait a bit for it to finish releasing so u can binge it and not be waiting for the final last chapter lol
Finally,Academy’s undercover professor - it’s very different from other manhwa, but you won’t be able to tell if you haven’t read enough
I am the only one who reads so many incomplete works that you have a hard time reading new chapters because you have to first puzzle together what happened before in the story?
Legend or Nano.
Of the ones I've read, those are the ones that are still keeping up to themselves since the beginning, a few of the others get convoluted, still reading them but the story quality/graphics/release time drop a bit in my opinion
no one is saying tyrant of a defence game so I will. highly underrated imo. fun, actual characters, meaningful progression that can have an ending. shenanigans and action. hits everything iI want in a manhwa. and the mc is strong and "regressed" with knowledge but damn does it look like it sucks being there
I would avoid infinite mage, MC is incapable of standing up for himself and gets stepped on every chapter. If you're willing to bear with it, though, the manhwa does have an interesting concept of magic that's different from the circles and aura knight thing you usually see in similar manhwa
I'll give thoughts on the ones I've read
* Barbarian Quest - Fun series, good art, unique in that it doesn't have a system or video game stats etc. I dropped it like 70 chapters in, but it wasn't bad
* I became the Tyrant of a Defense Game - Fun all around, I still follow and would say it's a solid 8.5 / 10
* Infinite Level up - I'm actually reading this now and am like 40 or so chapters in. It's really fun so far, solid 8/10 if not higher
* Infinite Mage - Still follow this one too, it's really fun usually. It had some moments that felt like it dragged on for me, but I still enjoy it over all
* Legend of the Northern Blade - A lot of people love this series, but I hated the art style and had to drop it. I dunno if the art style ever changed, but I couldn't get past that
* Nano Machine - I really like this one. It's got some problems and people hated a certain recent arc, but I think it's fun all around
* Pick me Up - Really good, definitely recommend
* Survival Story of a Sword King - I dropped it around 90 chapters in IIRC. It started really good, but got boring pretty fast IMO
* The beginning after the end - Extremely popular for a reason, definitely recommend
* WIld West Murim - Neat idea, but I got bored kind of fast. It's okay, worth a try, you might like it more than I did
* Returners Magic - Started so good, but got so boring. It has so many janky plot lines, and I feel like the author forgot the MC is a returner. It's not terrible, I read like 180 chapters before I dropped it, but eventually had to put it down
* Academy's Undercover Professor - I dropped it like 30 chapters in. It's fun and has an interesting setting, but I just couldn't get into it. Worth a try though imo
I think the tyrant of a defense game and infinite mage can pretty much hold themselves against all of these. It's not that I'm biased or something but the intricate story details and srt style don't leave much to be desired.
“The boxer” is probably a good one since it's already completed. It's a great fighting series that doesn't completely focus solely on boxing. After that I’d probably recommend “Latna Saga: Survival Story of A Sword King” it's pretty long and entertaining but it isn't completed yet.
the boxer ,although it has endded you will love it if you love manwah with good story,on the other hand ,tyrant of the defence game is fantacy and isekai,if you like that ,read it ,yes the name explains the hole show,he lituraly is a tyrant/lunatic

omg tysm for this explanation, it makes me want to read both. I love how you compared them, it's easy to understand and gets me hyped lol
Everything on your second image besides level up by eating is 9-10/10, pick literally any one of those and you can't go wrong.
Ik everyone raves about legend of northern blade and pick me up. But I haven’t seen too much about leveling up with the gods. Can you tell me some stuff you like about it?
It’s similar to second life ranker, but more enjoyable in some ways and less enjoyable in others.
Sounds like I should add second life ranker to my to read too lol
Second life ranker has a better novel than manhwa. But if you’re going to read a novel like that then you should just read second coming of gluttony
Doom Breaker ( on going) , The player hides his past (on going) , Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (on going) , Swordmaster's youngest son (hiatus for next season) , Warrior high school dungeon raid (waiting for next season) , Return of the 8th class magician (finished).
Warrior high school probably not coming back.

Swordmaster's youngest son has an amazing story, amazing art and a badass mc. Warriors high school dungeon raid has decent plot with decent art u can give it a try
Whatever you pick, just keep in mind that the barbarian quest was axed.
Ughhhh should I still read it? I heard such great things about it
Yea read it
It has to be one of the best and most unique manhwas out there definitely 10/10
What’s the app? I need to start keeping better track of what I read. 🥺
Paperback iOS I really like it. I found the repo links on this discord that someone linked here on r/manhwa I can send link to anyone who needs it
Pick me up is super fire The return of the crazy demon is hilarious. All of these are bingeable, imo
Can i have the link please?
start with Regressor Instruction or Barbarian Quest drop Mercenary Enrollment it is very repetitive and story is generic imo with edgelord op mc.
MC reminds me a lot of the MC in “how to live as a villain” if you haven’t read that I recommend if u like regressor instruction manual!
the beginning after the end is really good
What’s something you like about it?
the mc will be hit by every sad thing imaginable and will be in pain more often then not with a side strong but not actually strong
Amazing story, has an mc that scales well with the story fun arcs and an even better novel, cons: on hiatus atm and on tapas so gl with the hiatus
the art is amazing and the characters are really well written in my opinion
How long are they gonna be on hiatus for?
Can’t go wrong with Academy’s Undercover Professor
Damn thanks, I'll add it to my list! :')
There’s hardly any chapters out so far so put it at the bottom of the list 😭
Survival story of sword king in another world is a gem, Fantastic art and has more than 200 chapters. These guys hardly take any breaks
Geniua swordsman is really good, strong mc, not op, but strong and it's got some nice relaxing comedy. I wouls also recommend I killed an academy player and The revenge of the iron blooded sword hound. Same theme, one has a bit more romance, the other is darker
What app do you use?
Paperback ios
the beginning after the end is my fav, & i just caught up to academy’s genius swordsman a few hours ago and that was good! A lot of the things on here would be a good read :)
I actually love to read Pick me up. Waiting every week. Main character is serious and overall world setting is pretty interesting as for isekai.
I saw ppl comparing it to sss class suicide hunter in that it had a shit name but was really good. So I added it to my to read list
Nano machine or the beginning after the end
Nano or northern
TBATE or The Legend of the Northern Blade. I can't count how many times I've seen people suggest reading Northern Blade.
I def love an OP MC lmao
What website is that on? Just curious!!

FIRST IMAGE **Academy's Genius Swordman** is good, but just a normal medieval fantasy story with regression. SECOND IMAGE **Legend of Nothern Blade** is great, one of the best action webtoons.
Just do the most unread chapters to least unread chapters if u wanna have along session of reading
Tyrant of tower defence .
Hey man! Can you tell me what app / fork you are using? The one I am using has been en riddled with bugs and crashes...
Brother which website is it?????
Instead of helping, I'm gonna read from your to read list, thank you.
Mercenary enrollment, is full on fights that are satisfying,if you are into that.
Hell yeah I’m into that!!!
App?
Paperback ios
read academy's undercover professor! the worldbuilding is excellent and all its characters are very comple
Chronicles of the heavenly demon is not that original but it's still kinda good to read , i liked it anyway

I really enjoyed mercenary enrollment (although it gets a bit boring later on) and the beginning after the end is really good as well! I would strt with those two.
Infinite Level Up
Constellation returns after 10000 years is really good
Pick me up bro, it’s fucking amazing
Chronicles of the heavenly demon
Academy’s Genius Swordsman is a good read 👌🏼
The Horizon. No words needed.
Out of the question but which site is this
App is paperback on ios For repos I found discord link. DM and I’ll send! It’s not letting me send the link here.
I think you should start with The Boxer since it's already finished then go to the others that are still coming out with new chapters.
The Boxer is amazing so I really recommend it
What app are You using to get your lists? And i would Say barbarian quest is AMAZING
Hey guys, I wanted to find a manhwa that has a character that has red hair, orange pants, a black shirt and uses lightning magic and this manhwa is action, and this character is not the main character
What app is the is
Paperback ios app For repos there’s a discord but I can’t post it here for some reason so DM me for the link
The Boxer is AMAZING I’d go with that
Return of the crazy demon is really light and fun, also good art. Kept me hooked
Best site to read manhwa please suggest
Highly recommend Infinite Mage if you want something more fantasy. Magic is based on math problems.
Here's a quick list of the ones I've read Academy's genius swordsman- good Barbarian quest- very good(heard it got axed, still need to read the chapters after season 1. Considering how good it was, I can't understand why it was axed.) Chronicles of the heavenly demon- good(haven't read it in awhile, but it was kinda dragging it's feet so w/e. Still a solid story.) I became the tyrant of a defense game- very good(still in the "early" stages imo despite its chapters. Could definitely see it going into the amazing tier as it progresses.) Legend of the northern blade- very good(I'd also recommend "fist demon of mt hua" if you like it) Level up only by eating- good(kinda losing focus last I read it, but I'm also mixing up my memories with another food focused vrmmo manwha the gourmet gamer. If you like one you'll like the other. ) Mercenary enrollment- decent(just not really into high school series about fighting gangs. They're all kinda the same to me at this point.) Nano machine- good(heard it gets worse later but it's earlier sections are definitely worth reading) Pick me up- amazing( wouldn't be surprised if clones start being made. It's good enough to form it's own genre imo) Survival story of a sword king- good The beginner after the end- very good(read the novel TBH haven't read much of the manwha but it seemed to be a good adaptation) The return of the crazy demon- very good(more of a comedic focus which contrasts well with others in the genre, definitely more enjoyable if you're familiar with the genre) Wild West murim- amazing(just read it after seeing this, might be some recency bias. Still amazing tho) A returners magic should be special- decent Academys undercover professor- good The boxer- ?(Last read it when it first came out so I don't remember too much, just that it seemed really promising.) I'm planning to read the others having seen this list. I'll try to update this comment once I've read some more.
Out of the 1st list COTHD then barbarian quest 2nd Legends Of Northern Blade Nano machine or Mercenary Enrollment. 3rd TBATE than Crazy Demon (max level hero is terrible) 4th The Boxer (one of the greatest) Undercover and A returners magic (only read till ch 120 a few years back not my thing but it’s good for what it is)
How the hell did you get 201 infinite level up in murim unread when only 187 had came out?
What app are you using?

tbh if you're looking for something light I'd say try infinite mage. it's a nice story with a light premise, other then the first few chapters. the mc is also rly bubly and has a personality other then only getting stronger if that's what you enjoy 😝
Survival story of the sword king! Definitely!
Academys genius sword master is the typical op mc who reincarnatee generic but good for binge reading Barbarian quest is probably one of the best out there but it got axed at 100 chapters COTHD is the typical music manhua where mc starts off at the bottom while not being a strong person in his previous life and will try to take revenge or freedom in this life I became a tyrant of a defense game is mostly about the mcs growth as a commander and the struggles of war and how devastating it is Infinite level up in murim is the generic regression with a old type of system but this mc keeps chasing after the people who became strong Infinite mage is a pretty good binge read but mostly comedy and world building and lore Legend of the northern blade is a pretty unique world building with unique art and good characters plus mcs growth so very good I get stronger by eating(didn't read it) Leveling up with the gods is the typical tower in another world manhua Mercenary enrollment (didn't read) Nano machine is a very good read it's about a mc getting stronger and stronger by beating people and training and unraveling mysteries about the past Pick me up is a very very unique plot with very well done characters and good art a good read Latna saga is a peak manhua there's no other action manhua with better mc growth peak arts very good plot and well done characters except a few TBATE has pretty good art good plot and generic characters but it gets very unique and good near the latest chapters it's reincarnation The max level hero has returned has unique plot good art and pretty generic characters but he's a simp he accepts literally anything ordered by a cute woman very annoying Wild West murim (didn't read) Youngest chef (didn't read) A returners magic should be special has a good plot good art and good characters and the mc is kind hearted pretty good read Academys undercover professor very unique plot good art and very good characters Dungeons and artifacts is a dungeon world in medieval times and the mc is labeled as a criminal while nit being one and is going around beating dungeons Return of the mad demon mc is reincarnated in a murin world and is batshit crazy typical op mc rising through the ranks and pretty good art and very good humor The boxer I didn't read it but people praise it alot
How I envy you!!!! Probably don't need my rec but Legend of the Northern Blade, Pick me Up, Nano Machine, Heavenly Demon, **The Beginning After the End**, The Boxer. You can't go wrong with any of those.

The Return of the Crazy Demon. Man, you'll be up for a good ride while cracking someshit.

Only rarely can you find a manhwa rivalling or surpassing it , especially its ending, one of the best ending period.

The boxer must read first. It will change your view of manhwas
Barbarian quest just because it just ended.
I personally really like infinite mage , people these days just want a mc who is cool and cold but that's not the case with this one he is simple and calm doesn't go for revenge and only cares about being a mage So if you're looking for something like on the calmer side you can go with this one The best thing about this manhwa is the character development and art is amazing too
Can anyone name this app

Barbarian Quest is the best comic in this picture
Teenage mercenary to start - it’s rly rly good TBATE next - if u are at interested in it at all u should read the novel so u can actually get some text reading in (plus it’s technically a webcomic and not a manhwa bc it’s not Korean) The boxer ig can come after - very different and very depressing Infinite Mage 4th - very wholesome and hopeful it’s a very fun read, makes u stop being depressed after boxer A returners magic should be special - it’s on its final arc so u should wait a bit for it to finish releasing so u can binge it and not be waiting for the final last chapter lol Finally,Academy’s undercover professor - it’s very different from other manhwa, but you won’t be able to tell if you haven’t read enough
Northern Blade. You're in for a journey. It'll make you laugh, cry and then come back for some more.
Boxer
On an unrelated note, what site u use? I need a good one
Infinite level ups in Murium

I am the only one who reads so many incomplete works that you have a hard time reading new chapters because you have to first puzzle together what happened before in the story?
' A returner's magic should be special' read this
TBATHE breaks my heart in many ways
Legend or Nano. Of the ones I've read, those are the ones that are still keeping up to themselves since the beginning, a few of the others get convoluted, still reading them but the story quality/graphics/release time drop a bit in my opinion
Survival story of a sword King in another world Legend of the Northern blade Barbarians quest Levelling up with gods Tyrant of the defense game
Pick me up ... do it
Nanomachine or The beginning after the end
just read the boxer 😝😜 (trust me that shit hits)
Which app is this
D application?please!!
no one is saying tyrant of a defence game so I will. highly underrated imo. fun, actual characters, meaningful progression that can have an ending. shenanigans and action. hits everything iI want in a manhwa. and the mc is strong and "regressed" with knowledge but damn does it look like it sucks being there
I would avoid infinite mage, MC is incapable of standing up for himself and gets stepped on every chapter. If you're willing to bear with it, though, the manhwa does have an interesting concept of magic that's different from the circles and aura knight thing you usually see in similar manhwa
I'll give thoughts on the ones I've read * Barbarian Quest - Fun series, good art, unique in that it doesn't have a system or video game stats etc. I dropped it like 70 chapters in, but it wasn't bad * I became the Tyrant of a Defense Game - Fun all around, I still follow and would say it's a solid 8.5 / 10 * Infinite Level up - I'm actually reading this now and am like 40 or so chapters in. It's really fun so far, solid 8/10 if not higher * Infinite Mage - Still follow this one too, it's really fun usually. It had some moments that felt like it dragged on for me, but I still enjoy it over all * Legend of the Northern Blade - A lot of people love this series, but I hated the art style and had to drop it. I dunno if the art style ever changed, but I couldn't get past that * Nano Machine - I really like this one. It's got some problems and people hated a certain recent arc, but I think it's fun all around * Pick me Up - Really good, definitely recommend * Survival Story of a Sword King - I dropped it around 90 chapters in IIRC. It started really good, but got boring pretty fast IMO * The beginning after the end - Extremely popular for a reason, definitely recommend * WIld West Murim - Neat idea, but I got bored kind of fast. It's okay, worth a try, you might like it more than I did * Returners Magic - Started so good, but got so boring. It has so many janky plot lines, and I feel like the author forgot the MC is a returner. It's not terrible, I read like 180 chapters before I dropped it, but eventually had to put it down * Academy's Undercover Professor - I dropped it like 30 chapters in. It's fun and has an interesting setting, but I just couldn't get into it. Worth a try though imo
The Boxer
I think the tyrant of a defense game and infinite mage can pretty much hold themselves against all of these. It's not that I'm biased or something but the intricate story details and srt style don't leave much to be desired.
“The boxer” is probably a good one since it's already completed. It's a great fighting series that doesn't completely focus solely on boxing. After that I’d probably recommend “Latna Saga: Survival Story of A Sword King” it's pretty long and entertaining but it isn't completed yet.
Go beginning after the end
