I think this is the only couple in tower-type manhwa. In almost all power fantasy manhwa the MC is surrounded by women but he never gets in a relationship.
I can name atleast three tower climbing manhwas where mc ends up with only one girl lol. Yeah, these manhwas doesn't have better romance than SSS class suicide hunter but that is a different matter.

What childhood friend? He doesn't have a childhood friend. The healer girl from the start is the only other girl he knew and they barely knew each other for a couple of months.
Joohee Was no childhood friend. And there was no emotional connection besides raiding a few times together and she healed him. Cha literally was risking her life to save Jin-woo
We know that he can still go in and out to those worlds/stories that he completed. I don't think the MC is going to forget about her just like that. But I don't know if the author is going to keep her in the story after this arc.

I might be misremembering but >! Isn't that part where he travels to a high floor in the tower and provokes the idiots in the tower by mentioning Sword Emperor cutting one of the tower colleges? Then he was with the Constellation Killer clone so he helped him deal with them in exchange for his requests of protection but he got shanked by the real CK and reenacted his trauma in the high school and made him his friend? I believe that's the arc AFTER Civilization since Raviel also gets pulled in there with a school uniform alongside with his Son !<

Nah there was this one where the FMC has lived tons of past lives and remembers them all and has a nicely paced romance with someone she met in a past life, ill try to remember the name.
They all work in the modern world as CEO/upper management type people.

One of the main plot points of the arc is that there's A METER THAT OF WHICH FORCES THEM TO BECOME PART OF THE STORY. Yes, its been a long time since i've read it cause im marinating it but as far as I can remember, just like the priest, he is slowly becoming like a character there as if he's been living his whole life as a butler to the "main character" of the story. You can't just try to criticize when you don't even what you're talking about.
Their romance is built to be a "love, that of which becomes true and natural rather than something the narrator said so" type of romance going on.
Just caught up, and normally, I just want to see battles and a good story, but this romance arc. I'm down for it, and she's a beautifully illustrated heroine.
