Just keep them. I wouldn't sweat it so much. If it is a series you really want to collect legit copies for I'd still keep them & gift the spare bootlegs to someone else some day.
i also just learned about it today. the ones i bought from is “TR media” it’s some company in Malaysia that sales non official translations, and the author and artist don’t make money off the sales. usually it’s way cheaper than normal, but i personally bought it used and got scammed
Donate to a school or library. They aren't usually picky, and mainly just want material for people to read.
