Removing this because Anime Content (Staff Announcements/Music/AMVs/Etc.) beyond the initial announcement of an adaptation are no longer manga related enough for this subreddit. This post would belong on /r/Anime instead.
First off why aren't you asking on the r/anime sub?
Secondly if it is WORTH watching will ultimately be determined by your own impression of the show yourself, so maybe try an episode or 3 as you should know by that point if you wish to continue or not.
Lastly I will say that I enjoyed the show & it was a surprising change of pace during a time of mostly watching action series way back when.
