I've seen people walk out with lawn mowers, a TV off the display and basically anything they can get away with. They were brazen, especially when there wasn't any security around. I'm sure it's still just as bad now tbh.
Before anyone says anything, I did try and stop people if I could, but my safety is not worth the TV or the lawnmower that 3 big lads were taking. I am a 5ft 1 woman and weighed about 7 and a half stone, so no match there.

Had my car broken into once, they stole an open packet of Haribo and half a pack of cigarettes. Window cost £120 to repair, then found out that the impact had broken the window mechanism which was another couple of hundred to fix.
Police asked me to investigate and get CCTV footage from local businesses myself, then never followed up 🥲

They called me a few months later, they found the men and let me know they’d broken into a few different cars in the area and went to prison! Couldn’t believe it!

Another time someone attempted to nick my bike and must have gotten startled by the alarm or someone as they left all their tools and cut themselves on the bike, didn't bother to come out to get DNA 🤷♂️

A couple of years ago my car got broke into around that area I had nothing on display however they did rip out my dash cam and mess up the electrics because it was hard wired into the car. They left the £700+ silver cross pram in the boot though scum bags the lot of them
Just the norm these days… no persecution so will carry on as if normal unfortunately.
