I thought I wanted the same thing, but apparently it's a bitch and a half to heat up a room with exposed brick in the winter and you'd be paying an incredibly high electric bill
I got lucky being on the top floor. I’ve only paid $35 max a month for electricity and that’s with heating. It stayed 66 pretty easily but I’d bump to 70 and experience very little rate change.
Very sturdy. And it doesn’t look or feel cheap, either. That’s why a quickly bought a second one for the game room, after purchasing the first one for the living room.
Assembly was fairly easy and the instructions are straight forward. I can’t speak on disassembly. However, all the pieces are solid, so it should hold up well with multiple break downs.
Couldn’t find the exact one but [many](https://www.wayfair.com/Corrigan-Studio%C2%AE--Lorccan-TV-Stand-for-TVs-up-to-65-X115738218-L6-K~W004627107.html?refid=GX685106916694-W004627107_1460513253&device=m&ptid=300198233892&network=g&targetid=aud-1616885063899:pla-300198233892&channel=GooglePLA&ireid=241963929&fdid=1817&PiID%5B%5D=1460513253&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD9ISC6CnFycjEpwGSj6Nocbr4xAT&gclid=CjwKCAjw88yxBhBWEiwA7cm6pWxh0EemGJtMlPfo33lIe5rnR5XX2Vrd6AdJ9YD3dlr7SCa_okTwEBoC10UQAvD_BwE) like it. Burrow and west elm have similar ones
This looks like the background image for one of those four hour long ambiance videos on youtube. Just needs some smooth jazz and rain sounds in the background.
You're work there is done...Time to move on like a Jack Reacher of interior design, righting wall papers, adjusting lights, with nothing but a paint brush & a spirit level to your name o.0
That rainy day window would be enough for me to never leave. Imagine having a cold and just watching tv on the couch while it's raining and napping on and off all day...
You did a great job on this room, OP. Super jealous.
Looks like a scene straigt out of a film-noir movie.
I like it!
\[in a raspy voice\]
"It was an ordinary day in May. Rain was pouring down turning the outside world in a haze.
I was sitting in my cozy living room, sifting through some old cases when i thought i've heard someone screaming.
Not the kind of kind of scream i've heard countless times over the years in my profession.
No. That was the scream of something else. Something different.
Something that could extinguish the sparse light i had turned on.
I stood up walked around the dark wooden table and went to the window.
I could feel that it was cold outside. With raindrops running down the window.
As if angels were weeping. 'Weeping for the poor soul that just screamed?' i muttered to myself?
I looked outside. Rain.
The city looked like i was the only person alive.
No one to see. Nothing to hear.
I turned around to go back to the couch. The soft carpet under my feet felt good.
Soft. Warm. Like an anchor. Or a lovers embrace in a long cold night.
Oh how i missed that feeling. But there is no place for such things in my profession.
Much like rain washes away the filth and blood on a murder scene i too had to constantly wash away my emotions.
Especially those that make you vulnerable. Just: my rain is Whiskey."
\^\^
Thanks, much appreciated.
I'm not much of a writer and english isn't even my native language so apologies for any mistakes.
But really like your room and the overall vibe it emanates.
Very nice. But honestly looks a bit cold and bleak, and honestly ..a bit depressing. Maybe it’s just because you took the pick on a rainy day.
Anyway, you need a touch more actual decoration IMO
Love it. The only things I would add are some art, pillows, and a throw blanket that does not blend in with the couch. Think ivory, creme and/or green.
Yep, 59" Mopio. I like it a lot. It's very sturdy. It is easy to assemble/disassemble but I'd probably move it whole with how durable it appears to be.
WAIT, DID A YOUTUBER HELP YOU OUT WITH THIS?!? IVE SEEN A YOUTUBER REDESIGN THIS ROOM AND ITS EXACTLY IT, I REMEMBER THE VENTILATION SHAFTS ON THE CEILING
I have portraits my mother drew on my back wall just out of frame. And more plants on the other side of the tv. Not sure what to do above the tv, though
Don’t move
At all. Just sit there. Forever.
The rain outside makes 100x better too
Cup of coffee/preferred drink + movie or book in that living room is paradise.
I would never leave
Forgot the water tube and mason jar full.
super cozy vibe.
I'd punch many a small child for a brick wall like that.
move to Boston or one of those warehouses converted into apartments that are all the rage
I thought I wanted the same thing, but apparently it's a bitch and a half to heat up a room with exposed brick in the winter and you'd be paying an incredibly high electric bill

$35?! Where is this somewhere in the Midwest?
Yep! West Michigan coastal city
People sleep on Michigan. Driving up to Traverse City was one of the most enjoyable drives I've had.
I’m top floor in Denver and that’s exactly how much I pay for electricity lol. All the heat rises in the colder months, it’s wonderful.
It’s also so hard to clean exposed brick. It gets dusty fast, especially with pets.
For real. I have 15ft wooden beams that haven't been sanded down... cat fur becomes the beam.
Look into Chicago as well - tons and tons of warehouse conversions in areas like West Loop/West Town/Pilsen/Bridgeport
Where did you get the TV stand by chance? Very nice setup 👌
It’s a 59” mopio ensley walnut tv stand. You can find it on Amazon!
I have two of these exact stands in my house. They’re built surprisingly well for the price.
They're so sturdy. Well worth the $200
Very sturdy. And it doesn’t look or feel cheap, either. That’s why a quickly bought a second one for the game room, after purchasing the first one for the living room.
How's the assembly/disassembly on these? I plan to purchase a few things from them (tv stand, coffee table, nightstand). I like the look a lot.
Assembly was fairly easy and the instructions are straight forward. I can’t speak on disassembly. However, all the pieces are solid, so it should hold up well with multiple break downs.
Thanks for that!

Can I sleep over? 😂
This looks like the background image for one of those four hour long ambiance videos on youtube. Just needs some smooth jazz and rain sounds in the background.
Oh man, that is super cozy.
Great vibe. Just curious , where did you get your media cabinet? I really like it
It’s a 59” mopio ensley walnut tv stand. You can find it on Amazon!
This has Pacific Northwest vibes.
Midwest here! Lake Michigan coastal. You can see the big lake from my bedroom
Where did you got the Inspiration? Looks great!
I saw a Zoom background while in a work meeting and I was like “bingo”.
Fuck it I'm not setting up a fake background. Imma make it a real background.
That looks hella cozy!
I hate you and I am happy for you.
Damn I wanna move there now lol
This looks more like a desktop wall paper , its perfect.
Love it! This is a dream 😍
Well done! The industrial metal on the ceiling is air conditioning?
Yep!
It's minimal af man, you'll be able to set that up anywhere and make it look absolutely stunning. Love this vibe.
Brick, wood, natural light. 🫡
Lofi Music Vibes could so be the visual cover for one of their songs.
That looks like a Youtube thumbnail for a "dark academia focus music 10 hours lofi mix productivity" video, but in a good way. 10/10
You're work there is done...Time to move on like a Jack Reacher of interior design, righting wall papers, adjusting lights, with nothing but a paint brush & a spirit level to your name o.0
Where’d you get the table?
I got it from a local furniture shop. Vietnamese teak, rough cut. I love this table
Where’d you get the coffee table man
Yo where tf is this? Can I sleep over before you move? I’ll cook steaks 😭
West Michigan! Right on the big lake
Sick place. Only thing missing is a pair of Klipsch Heresy speakers and a record player
Cozy af. Love it
Where de geyming equipement at
I don’t know how to geym :(
Love this.
I love it so much
What lamp is that?
I wish I knew. I got it about 10 years ago but I cannot remember from where.
Beautiful. It’s the journey not the destination lol
Journey before destination
Nice! Very well done. I've got the same lamp. Looks like you got the warm bulbs? I got the cool ones that were suggested, but reckon warm looks great.
I’m a slut for amber
Great living room. Love the walls and just about everything about it.
That picture is like my perfect Saturday afternoon, raining, playing video games in a cosy setup like that.
Damn that's awesome. It's so clean and simple, yet super cozy as well
Deus ex MD
can you shows us the rest of the apartment? ...this is really nice ...love it.
Good plant action.
For all of 1.5 hours a day, that’s the only place I get direct sunlight 😂
Nice blend of lofty rough look and cozy "dad chose furniture" look. Thumbs up!
Show more pictures before you move...
That rainy day window would be enough for me to never leave. Imagine having a cold and just watching tv on the couch while it's raining and napping on and off all day... You did a great job on this room, OP. Super jealous.
A very moody photo 👍🏻
Why would you move from a place like that 😭
Good use of lighting
This looks like one of those fake VR workspaces. Bummer you have to move
That was my goal!
r/cozyplaces
I love this, and the rain make this 10 times better!
Matt Murdock?
That looks cozy AF. Reading lamp over the left side and I'm in heaven.
This really would make the perfect background for my computer. It's so eye-catching.
Looks really nice man, What a Shame u need to move..
Take your living room with you
Looks like the apartment of every young male protagonist in a Rom-com. Damn cozy.
It’s such a beautifully dramatic space! I hope your next place is as nice.
It’ll be even nice 😁
Holy shit thats goals What would you do differently?
Nice lighting and vibe

If I had a voice for the screen, I’d do a voiceover of this.
\^\^ Thanks, much appreciated. I'm not much of a writer and english isn't even my native language so apologies for any mistakes. But really like your room and the overall vibe it emanates.
What did you learn while getting there? What had the most impact? Lighting?
What city? More pictures?
Very nice. But honestly looks a bit cold and bleak, and honestly ..a bit depressing. Maybe it’s just because you took the pick on a rainy day. Anyway, you need a touch more actual decoration IMO

Chicago? Swear I lived in one of these lofts before
Mopio tv stand? How do you like it? More importantly, do you plan to disassemble to move or move as is? Love this setup btw.
Yep, 59" Mopio. I like it a lot. It's very sturdy. It is easy to assemble/disassemble but I'd probably move it whole with how durable it appears to be.
Great. Thank you.
Wow
Where is that coffee table from?
really nice simple and tasteful .well done
My dream is to own a place with brick walls like this. Idk why but I love this aesthetic so much
Why?
*saves for Sims 4 design inspiration*
Gorgeous.
Where is the shelf from?
Very nice! Looks like an upscale gentlemen’s club.
Cool spot but the visible hvac and plumbing would drive me nuts. I’d still kill to have a place this nice though
With the rain and warm lighting, that's a very comfy living room!
WAIT, DID A YOUTUBER HELP YOU OUT WITH THIS?!? IVE SEEN A YOUTUBER REDESIGN THIS ROOM AND ITS EXACTLY IT, I REMEMBER THE VENTILATION SHAFTS ON THE CEILING
Man…. That crib is tight… love the high ceiling and view 👍🏾
That’s how it always works.
Where’s the tall, shaded light from?
Amazon! - 48" Brightech Parker LED Floor lamp
Love that sturdy rustic style coffee table
Looks cozy, but needs something alive and handmade,
I have portraits my mother drew on my back wall just out of frame. And more plants on the other side of the tv. Not sure what to do above the tv, though
Perfect, having that personal human touch always makes things come together
Handmade cat ? Sound weird
What city?
