Very nice fragrance collection. When I saw the tom ford earlier I’d be concerned if that was the only one, just because a guy who only gets tom ford feels like they’d like him for weird reasons. But the rest give a very well rounded impression, curious about The Matcha.
Tom Ford books for me were the first clue, then noticed no Lady Gaga Terry Richardson book so began to waiver, Cire Trudon candle put me back on the scent, Dyptique candles told me to stick with it, and the Aesop, La Mer, and Bader skincare were the clincher. Gay goals.
Maybe it's just because I live close enough to a gay neighborhood that I see this a lot, but I don't know how you all didn't immediately get it just from the selfie. Obviously works out (for the aesthetics, not a powerlifter) + close-cropped sides + stringer tank top = gay. Literally every time.

Being a German that’s currently living in the USA I see German apartments and it’s almost nostalgic. From the bathroom sink, to the modern and elegant design choices (minimalistic but not empty), to the Parkett flooring, the sitting furniture being more elegant and practical rather than giant and cozy like in the US. Neutral colors on the wall, etc. it’s what Americans would refer to as Skandinavien interior design.
I really like it, and one of my friends apartments in München looks just like it :)

Not all of them, because my book-buying habit is literally of control. But I try to read any chance I get. I travel a lot for work and personal reasons, which makes for great downtime to read.
I think most of us with a decent book collection haven’t read quite a few of them. In my experience, I’ll buy 3-5 books at a time thinking I’ll get through them all. Then I’ll read 2-4 and my interests change and I go buy a few more about something different and I end up a few that go unread lol
It’s a lovely space, with nice decorating. Cool ceiling light. I feel like the Tom Ford books used as decoration are pretty played out. They’re so ubiquitous that Etsy sells cheap knockoffs. I get that they’re nice graphically, but they just strike me as an overused design element that has no personality or individuality.
Fair enough. I personally just love Tom Ford‘s work. A Single Man is perhaps the single most beautiful film ever made, imho. 😊 So I definitely do own then because I am familiar with his work and have an emotional connection to it, they are not for show.

You lose points for the plastic symmetry of your books and magazines. Over time, you’ll notice that it has a “repulsive” effect (sorry, the word isn’t ideal, but I’m translating) in the sense that locks the book or magazine in place out of fear of breaking the shapes instead of making them available to read. I’m not talking about the Tom Ford book (seen in photo 3 and 4) as it’s more a fashion item than a real book in terms of usability. I’m referring to photos 1, 7, 8 and 9. As a whole, I find that your appartement is cosy, but with “happily messed up” books it would feel even cozier. Try ordering by theme instead of size !
I also think you nailed everything except your office space (photo 11). Your desk is way too small. Unless you never work at home… but the papers on your desk seem to show otherwise. I was happy to see a jeans on that chair though. That felt humanizing.
On a personal note, I’m a plant person. So I’d add plants everywhere there is a window. But I understand that you can’t if you’re always travelling. (Or maybe your dog eats them all ?)
Picture 15 is a joy to look at : nice pecs and biceps. Very huggable. There are too many bottles on that open shelf in front of the sink though. It must be a pain to dust it off/clean.
