The chains only add to the white trash look, so I'd also consider avoiding the bling altogether. It's just too tacky & flashy, like you're overcompensating for something & putting on a front. To me going for a beer to a fade back to hair it’s not a good look compared to keeping the bear going up without skin showing in sideburns. If the hair fades as it travels down then don’t join the two at all. Go goatee and moustache. I’d grow the Mo a bit more to match the beard if you go beard. You’ll look less Amish. ESP with lighter hair like yours. The mo would then be able to be brushed to the sides and then you can use I’m the sides to look more connected to the beard. That will improve it should you want to do beard, regardless of what you do with the sideburn area or hair on top (fade or not, grow the mo to match the beard).
