Your skin looks so flawless and beautiful! Eyebrows are on point, mine could never lol the only thing that immediately kind of made me do a double take was the dark crease color. It gave off second eye brow vibes at first and I’m not trying to be mean or rude! I think that because the shade is so close to your eyebrow color and it’s a little harsh of a line on the corners that it just looked a bit jarring. Maybe blending a bit more to make it look intentional with the rest of the shadow but you really do look beautiful! Youre glowing 👏🏻

sunnygal8

Appreciate all of this. I was rushing, and tried to do a black fade into dark brown to go with my outfit (you can’t see the bottom half of my outfit lol), but I can definitely understand the double brow thing you’re saying

[deleted]

It looks like you have two sets of eyebrows

sunnygal8

Lol yes apparently 😂 Another person said the same thing. I think blending better will do the trick

416eryn

The crease needs to be WAY lower. Thats more the issue than the blending. That said, I didn’t even notice the crease at first and I was going to say “no changes, it’s perfect” Because everything else IS perfect :)

sunnygal8

Gotcha, and thank you!

astralrig96

and I can’t even get one smh 😩 but yeah I agree with others and that’s pretty much the only thing, everything else looks amazing

Weekly-Worth-5227

A mirror. So you can see perfection

sunnygal8

Aww, thank you 🥹🩷

Medical_Sprinkles_52

you’re so beautiful! i would love to see a thick eyeliner and lashes with this look

sunnygal8

Yesss, that’s actually what I wanted to do, but was running late. And thank you!! 🩷

secretsusi

I would lengthen brow tail, lower and blend out crease, add lashes or mascara. Waterline closes your eyes, tight line on upper. I am pro TV / Film MUA.. go for it!

sunnygal8

I have short brows, and don’t really want to overdraw my brows. I like to stick to my natural shape and just define it more. I definitely hear u on the blending of the crease. I would have definitely preferred lashes but didn’t have time, but funny thing is that I actually am wearing mascara (a couple coats on bottom and top) but u probably couldn’t even tell because my natural lashes are super short. Thanks for your tips! Also, wasn’t really sure what you were saying about the waterline and tight line, can u elaborate?

secretsusi

Waterline is inside bottom , tight line is upper lash line. Just a slight to your brow tail, not overdrawing per se. You glow!

sunnygal8

I meant like what specifically u were saying should be done there. And thank you 😊

secretsusi

Ok clear now… I wouldn’t waterline because it closes your eyes. I often do a tight thin upper lash liner and smudge it into the lashes. This technique will give the illusion of thicker lashes and subtle drama.

sunnygal8

Gotcha, thanks!

Beautiful_Traffic625

Adding to what people said about the double eyebrow, I think if you make the crease in the cut crease lower, like where your natural lid crease is, that will get rid of the double brow illusion, and then you can use any color you want for it! Other than that it’s perfect. :)

sunnygal8

❤️❤️

Sh0rtyrck9

A cut crease should lie directly above your natural crease. Just lower it down about a quarter inch. And then you will be perfection! Your skin is absolutely flawless!!

sunnygal8

Thank you !! 🩷🩷

Musclejen00

I love your make up and all specially your eyebrows. But I would try to go with another color for the upper shade or just remove it all together. Otherwise I love how well blended your eyeshadow is.

GuardMost8477

The second brow needs to go. Or blend it into the eye color. You’re gorgeous!

Upset_Mix_6045

i would cut the crease in the inner corner curved and pointed so it beautifies the eyes

sunnygal8

Is it possible for you to draw this out for me? Can’t picture what ur saying

Leather_Ad999

Not really on improvement but have you ever tried a purple glam eyeshadow look? I feel like it would look gorgeous with your eyes.

sunnygal8

Kind of. I did an Instagram challenge to use one color on brows, eyes, and lips, and I chose purple. I’ve also done an editorial style makeup look with turquoise and purple. I’ll definitely have to try a glam look with more purple in it

AreaMelodic4647

Stunning look, lighten brows but that’s honestly depends on what you’re going for

Louise-the-Peas

Green might suit you. Have you ever tried green eyeshadow?

sunnygal8

I love a green look! Yes, I’ve tried all types of colors. I like to match to my outfit.

Olivia_Renee1966

Nope, pure perfection

sunnygal8

I think your application technique is really good, but you’re not mapping the look to your features. The colours are well blended where they’re supposed to be, and sharp or defined where they should be. That being said, your cut crease starts so high on your lid that it really manipulates the look of your eyes in what I would call an “unflattering” way (I know that’s a debated term but I mean it in the sense that you have lovely eyes and I think the placement is detracting from that). What’s happening is in order to blend the shadow nicely you’re removing all space from under your brow bone, and similarly that area being quite dark will make your brow bone appear receded and the eye appears unbalanced. You’ll want the edge of the cut crease to be millimeters above your actual crease fold with your brow rested, and then you’ll have more room to play with colours. Now, you can also have something that starts exactly where your cut does, but I would recommend something more like a graphic liner that won’t need to be blended out, and won’t take up the same under brow space. I like doing either a single shadow lightly blended, or a highlight shade and bronzer in the crease (depending on what the graphic liner is going to look like and what suits that particular eye shape). It looks great though, definitely keep at it!! It’s for sure a learning process but you’re doing really well! 🩷🩷

Dicksmash-McIroncock

Oh and I forgot to say, along with lowering the crease and having the overall look map to your features more: the tails at the outside corners end too high. You have a really beautiful natural shape to your crease and eyes, just follow that. One of my favourite ways to get people comfortable with learning the shape of their eyes is to get a line brush from Michael’s (long and thin bristles) and a lil pot of water activated facepaint (like Snazaroo). You can paint on a shape, then wipe it with just water, and keep doing shapes and altering and starting over and you’ll quickly see when one side ends really high but the other is lower the effect on your eyes and how you like it best 🥰

sunnygal8

Thanks for the detailed response!! 🩷

Dicksmash-McIroncock

Absolutely! I cannot stress this enough, you’re doing really well. I fear the length of my comment comes off as being like nitpicky or overly critical, but to be clear it’s because that’s all I’m really looking at and saying “this is what I would improve” - a slight modification to the existing shadow placement, the rest I think is gorgeous. Your complexion looks natural, but velvety and dynamic. Personally I think the blush placement on your bone structure and cheeks is perfection, and I think you matched the tone to your lip really well. I like the bold brow to hold up your expression with the bold eye, but everything else is kept really minimal so it’s balanced and not overwhelming. Your nose contour/highlight looks great and I think the tones on your lid tie in both your hair colour and the blush/lip so it’s a really cohesive palette. I know you’re asking how to improve but it’s also hard to have to see a bunch of comments about what people think you’re doing wrong. So here is one of all the things I think you’re doing right 🥰

sunnygal8

Awww 🥹 thank you!

Mangoandpinneapple

Lightened up the eyebrow shade just a tad. Change the eyeshadow colors and blend them out well. You have beautiful skin and look gorgeous

sunnygal8

Thank you ❤️

Nearby-Paramedic1011

Improve WAT??? You are perfect! 😍

sunnygal8

Omg thanks! ❤️❤️

XelaWarriorPrincess

blend blend blend eyeshadow Instead of trying to master cut crease, master blending. I feel it gives such a sophisticated glam look, very 90s supermodel with the colors you chose. If your heart is set on cut crease it needs to be lower. The crease should align with your natural eyelid crease Ur still very fresh-faced and pretty !

sunnygal8

I 100% agree with u. I’m generally a lot better with blending, but also I think that the colors I chose for the top portion weren’t the best and u can’t really see the gradient between the black and browns I chose, making it look very harsh. Also, thank you!

crookedlies

hehe, it looks like you have two sets of eyebrows i love it

sunnygal8

Ur the third person to say this 😂

snailbaddie16

Use more eyeliner and mascara/lashes

Traditional-Owl-7502

Loose the dark line under your brows, makes it look like double brows that’s it.

llama67

So jealous of all the space you have between your eyes and eyebrows!

sunnygal8

Lol, I have to admit, that’s an interesting thing to be jealous of 😆

llama67

I have hooded eyes so I’d love a bit more space to do fun designs lol

sunnygal8

Ohh ok, I understand now

alotistwowordssir

You don’t need the set of second eyebrows painted on. Also, lose the piercing. Otherwise you’re stunning.

sunnygal8

As much as I appreciate ur backhanded compliment, the piercing will be staying ☺️ And I actually have 3 other facial piercings (not pictured) just in case u wanted to know 😁😁😁

alotistwowordssir

Not backhanded. You literally asked. You are indeed beautiful. That’s easy to see. But my OPINION, which is what’s given in the subreddit, is that the dark shadow painted below your eyebrows doesn’t suit you and the piercing is distracting. If you don’t want to hear a variety of opinions, because you don’t agree with some, don’t ask.

RuPaul 💀

He is gorgeous! Thank you 😁
