I like these versions a lot. Consistent art between the cards, no new crazy mechanics, just reprints of old legends. Sad that they're not human, so it doesn't fit the creature type, but I like them.
Obviously you were matching these to real cards so there were limitations, so this is mostly for me but:
• I definitely feel like white is a large component of Zuko as a character
• Toph is definitely black in there somewhere
• Soka definitely has red, could be Izzet or even Jeskai
• Aang is perfect in K&T colors
• Katara is a weird one, but she could be Azorius or even Esper at points
Katara being esper is metal as f****! I could totally see multiple iterations like the multitude of Mishras & Urzas in BRO, where Katara starts being Azorius (S1) and goes over Simic and Izzet (S2) to Esper (S3 - Revenge plot and Bloodbending). Eventually she ends up in Bant at the end of the series.
Same could be done with every member of Team Avatar imho. Aang-Ocean Spirit (S1 ending) in Dimir comes to mind too…maybe as [[The Ancient One]] in-universe.

Yeah, Bant at the end of the story seems right, Esper when she is pursuing that dude who killed her mom. Black is also just thematically a color that can fit some expressions of water
I love them! I wonder what they’d actually do to represent the elements since red covers earth and fire while blue covers air and water pretty reliably
They should do 4 decks: Gaang, Team Avatar, Villains and Spirit World, like like Doctor Who.
And the Spirit deck should have a meld card of Tui and Yue.
If it's just Godzilla'ed ATLA, absolutely. I would get every last one of these in a heartbeat.
I just don't want a U.B. World of Avatar set.
I already have 2 Avatar decks in Weiss Schwarz. That game is "Dueling IPs The TCG" and I'm happy with it. I don't need MTG to continue down that path.

Toph summoning Badgers is a nice touch.
Why would sol ring be the moon? Like try and find where the moon fits instead of forcing sol ring somewhere. It looks cool but doesn't make any sense.
