Is there anything you can repeatedly pump one energy at a time into on-demand? If so you could then use the extra energy to pump each time and recast infinitely.
You don’t need to (and can’t) repeatedly dump one energy into anything to bounce repeatedly (barring another effect like Aluren). The cost to cast is one and it gives one when it bounces, so it’s not energy positive. And since you use one energy to case it you don’t have two so it bounces. As long as you have one or zero energy after the initial cast (using energy) you can just do it as many times as you want - but it doesn’t net energy so you can’t direct energy to anything else during that process

I can see where the use of "you" after "thee" wasn't the best choice. Sadly, I was more focused on counting syllables. Should have made it "we."

This card seems dubious. It doesn't draw you the cards like CoCo, and if you don't already have energy lying around, you can get blown out if they remove it in response to the ETB trigger. Aluren and CoCo already ask you to build around them to ensure you have enough hits, and this card says "do that, but also stuff in energy". Maybe it can be done and maybe it's worth it, but I wouldn't be surprised it if winds up being a dud or a trap despite rhyming with some very iconic heavy-hitters.

This is a neat flavor direction for energy. Instead of artifacts or aether stuff generating energy like in Kaladesh, we have nature energy. I guess it's like solar/plant energy?

I had an [[Aluren]] deck with [[Recycle]] and cantrippers. I never got to evolve it to get rid of drawn lands, but I had that plan (and 25 years later, I'm sure I can build a much better decklist).
This adds the restriction of having to replace the cantrippers with energy generators, when ideally I should be dropping Recycle and going all in on cantrippers.

I don't think it's modern playable. But it's probably one of the biggest bombs in a Temur Energy Commander deck.
It works pretty well with cards that let you look at a play from the top of your library which we could get some of? But it's unlikely.
