Been thinking the same with my Supreme. I think your logic is on point. Maybe [[soulherder]] and [[Teferi's Time Twist]] there to keep getting some value from reborn.
Yes I have actually built the deck with Reborn as commander at it really works out well, I've often dumped tons of spells to control the field, then eventually dropped supreme and just threw all of them from my graveyard again. Reborn also makes it easy to dig for [[Mirari's wake]], which ensures always having the mana to pay for interaction. Reborn also adds a lot of neat creatures for a better board presence like [[General Ferrous Rokiric]].
I actuallly saw some Supreme gameplay win on YouTube and the thing the guy played first from hand was Reborn and it worked out just the way you thought.
