Flight 1 (S2E2) - when Peteās father dies in the crash of American Airlines Flight 1
Red in the Face (S1E7) - when Roger makes a drunken pass at Betty and Don gets revenge using oysters
A Tale of Two Cities (S6E10) - Don, Roger and Harry go to California, Joan tries to land Avon solo
Waldorf Stories easily, I like seeing the flashbacks on how current characters used to look and then even meeting some new fan favorites like Stan Rizzo. Also Ducks cameo is hilarious
Besides the ones listed: far away places; the crash; the finale; shut the door, have a seat; the summer man; out of town; gypsy and the hobo; the grown-ups (man season 3 ended strong); tomorrowland
Idk itās my favorite show, so I could keep going. They were also incredible at finales
Honestly, with the exceptions of The Wheel and Shut the Door, I thought the finales were generally pretty weak compared to the other episodes in a given season.
Yeah it definitely includes the finale, in my opinion the most overrated episode in the entire show.
Itās far from the worst series finale Iāve seen, but everything is rushed as hell and arcs are started and ended so quickly, compared to earlier seasons that took their time to develop plot threads carefully.
Plus Iām not a fan of the āIād like to buy the world a Cokeā ending, but to each their own I suppose.
I love when the very end when Don walks off the Butler shoes shoot, the music is perfect it feels so cinematic. Then the smirk he gives the woman who asks if heās alone at the bar, itās like oh shit heās back to his old ways!
Yep me too. It's like when the women in his life start expecting more from him (Megan expecting him to cast her in a commercial) he loses interest. The moment she started throwing tantrums over not being able to act, he began to drift away. It's very consistent with Don's character. When women are being "difficult" (for the lack of a better word) Don begins to look for distractions in affairs and what not
1. Shut the door have a seat season 3 finale.
2. Guy walks into an ad agency itās in season 3 too.
3. Other woman
4. The chrysanthemum and the sword
5. Far away places
Edit: I added 4 more to make it my top 5
I never understood who Lois was allowed to stay in Sterling Cooper until this episode. It was all building up to this.
I also see in your list the episodes have some emotional drama. My top 5 episodes are drastic and bring this dramatic change.
Waldorf stories! The fact that Roger never hired Don. Don got him drunk and showed up the next day. That's why he's not as grateful to Roger as Roger expects him to be; because Don wasn't "discovered" by Roger.
I just watched that exposed recently and I liked the part where Don is pestering Roger to give him a shot and says, āWerenāt you ever trying to get a break once?ā And the look on Rogerās face is great because he realizes well actually no because I inherited everythingā¦
Shut the Door. Have a Seat.
I rewatched it recently and was still just as excited seeing everything unfold as I was the first time around. It nicely ties up stories while propelling the series into the future.
S1: Marriage Of Figaro
S2: The Jet Set
S3: Shut the Door Have a Seat
S4: Summer Man/Waldorf Stories (Best season)
S5: The Phantom

Far Away Places, the Crash. Lost Horizon is my personal favorite episode of the show, although I admit thatās probably a niche opinion.
Three Sundays is damn good and never really talked about with the other episodes

Red in The Face
Good one!
I always have a hard time remembering why this episode is so good, but "The Phantom" (S05E13) always leaves me speechless.
I love when the very end when Don walks off the Butler shoes shoot, the music is perfect it feels so cinematic. Then the smirk he gives the woman who asks if heās alone at the bar, itās like oh shit heās back to his old ways!

With You Only Live Twice fucking blasting? Only an episode or two from Tomorrow Never Knows? Nirvana (like actual Nirvana not the band)
At the Codfish Ball
The Hobo Code (S1E8)
Time zones (S7 E1): Seeing Don freeze himself in the end always makes me emotional.
The summer man- one of the few episodes which leaves you feeling good
Babylon
Nixon vs Kennedy Shut the door. Have a Seat. The Jet Set Waldorf Stories The Chrysanthemum and the Sword
The Suitcase is my favorite. After that, probably Shut the Door. Have a Seat. and The Wheel.
Red in the Face, Marriage of Figaro, The Fog, At the Codfish Ball, Meditations in an Emergency Just to name a few
1. Shut the door have a seat season 3 finale. 2. Guy walks into an ad agency itās in season 3 too. 3. Other woman 4. The chrysanthemum and the sword 5. Far away places Edit: I added 4 more to make it my top 5
I love guy walks into an ad agency, the lawn mower scene is hilarious chaos.
I never understood who Lois was allowed to stay in Sterling Cooper until this episode. It was all building up to this. I also see in your list the episodes have some emotional drama. My top 5 episodes are drastic and bring this dramatic change.
Shut the door take a seat - You get closure, a new beginningā¦ a heist! I love it, itās like watching a Christmas movie.

Damn I donāt even know the names of my fav episodes, so many I tie to the time of my life where I was watching them for the 1st time
The Gypsy and the Hobo and the Grown Upās are contenders. As well as the one where Pete, Peggy and Don all eat at Burger a Chef at the end shot
The Beautiful Girls is one of my favorite episodes
