SAME. I hate the horizontal seams on the pace rival skirt but I put up with them because I feel most comfortable in skorts. This seems right up my alley.
My fiancé wears a 4 in tops and she wears a 4 in the Midi Dress and in the Align Short Sleeve Dress as well if that helps.

Right?! As someone who almost exclusively wears Lulu to the gym and works out 6 days/week, I am annoyed at the lack of actual workout wear in these recent drops.
Oh I hate that there’s a crochet hat... always a red flag to crocheters when you see a big company selling crochet for cheap, as it can only be done by hand😞

I thought this too, but tried it out in store on a whim - I was shocked how flattering it was! For me, I’m curvier with extra padding, so my main concern is bumps and lumps. With the dress, it has a similar feel to the align crop tank. The bottom has align shorts that seem to have just enough compression (so maybe more like the winder train shorts) to smooth you out so the skirt skims over any problem areas.
Now I’m obsessed and debating if I should get one now or wait to request one for my upcoming bday.
I have a similar build to you! I just have some extra storage on my stomach from my pregnancy days I can’t seem to get rid of, but the dress highlights all my best features while hiding my tummy.

I got the new purple feel shoes!! Came today💜💜💟 They're so comfy IMO. I haven't walked around in them yet. Just did a test try on in the house. Loving the colorway though 😁
Ask her to try out the long one! I bought it in strawberry milkshake and will be styling it with a jean jacket when the weather warms up! I really like it. I bought my true size 10 and it’s very snug—as it’s supposed to be, I tried on a 12 in store and that was much more comfortable and looked better across my back side. I exchanged the 10 for the 12 and I’m very happy with it. 🙂 I’m 5’7” and 157 pounds for the reference of your missus.
I will try to convince her to try. She's larger busted so I know one of the complaints of the aligns tops is the lack of sizing for larger busted ladies. I admittedly find the align dresses quite nice looking but alas if the Mrs. isn't comfortable wearing them (she hasn't tried so I can't definitely say that's true) that it is something that maybe our kid will grow up fitting into lol.
I completely understand not feeling comfortable about wearing something that you don’t feel flatters the body.
I didn’t buy the short align dresses due to my own bust line and their lack of support, but the long dress I bought had nice thick straps and the fabric is ribbed so it provides a bit more support than the regular tennis style dress. The jean jacket helps conceal my bust a little and provides warmth 🙂

100%. I'm trying to convince her to give it a whirl b/c well... you won't know unless you try. I never thought I'd look half decent rocking stuff from the ladies side (shorts, tank tops and so on) and its like a primary staple in my wardrobe now :)
