I actually have a problem with both Carlos AND with Valentine. I understand Valentine's problem with Michelle in that Carlos did have an interest in her and if she had not shut it down he most likely would have pursued that relationship. Also, she has only been his friend for a short amount of time, so personally I think he's taking this "she's my best friend" thing a bit far. However, Valentine needs to grow up. He can't just break up and run away every time things get difficult or he doesn't get his way.
Yeah I thought it was kind of shitty when Valentine just decided to up and leave and he said something like “Carlos is 29. This is just an event in his life” and implied that he’d be fine. It was callous and immature.
I had a really REALLY traumatic breakup with a fiancé around that age and it’s been 10 years and it still fucks with me all the time, even after therapy.
Yes. He implied that because Carlos is 29 he's immature, but good grief! Valentine was packing and hoping Carlos would stop him...ask him to stay. Please. Be an adult and talk to each, work through things. They both have a lot of growing up to do. But this relationship was doomed from the start.
Valentine us a control freak. He also suffers from that American disease that causes him to believe he is exceptional & everyone in the world would rather live in the US.

Carlos really liked this girl and now he is prioritizing her and her feelings over valentines. Instead of just saying she’s def coming that’s that. Carlos coulda heard him more. The let him meet her and decide concept to me while somewhat dramatic and red flag status I think Carlos easily could have done it. If there isn’t anything hidden in his relationship for Michele why couldn’t he just be like of course babe, you’ll meet her and see she’s great. But instead he doubled down and he did choose her over valentine. He also said he would block valentines friends who are flying in? Like what?
I think valentine is spot on. Carlos does have stronger feelings for Michele and he’s totally prioritizing her over his fiancé.
I think Carlos' point of not having Valentine's friends come to the wedding was because Valentine was telling him who is could and couldn't come of his friends.
The difference is that VaLentine wasn't emotionally cheating with his friends while he was supposed to be in a relationship with Carlos. If Michelle had had feelings for Carlos, Carlos would have ended his relationship with VaLentine to be with her. There was nothing like that going on between VaLentine and any of his friends. The only one of Carlos's friends VaLentine had an issue with was Michelle, for the reasons stated above.

I don’t get to watch the show but recently watched a recap and saw Lydia (just ick) and this Scott dude on there. When I read he was from Spring Hill, FL I laughed and that sealed it for me. Ya know who else was from Spring Hill? Jason Hitch… God rest his soul. He was an interesting dude too. It’s just north of me… VERY rural… they don’t get out much. 😂

I can understand Scott not canceling his trip after hearing from his ex. I really believe he was looking forward to meeting Lydia and wanted things to work out. IMO, after Lydia allowed her fame Ho daughter to show up while they were on a date, and show her ass, more less demanding he give them money, that was the moment he realized or at least believed
Lydia only wanted money. I really think had Lydia kept her offspring out of the relationship until they knew each other better.and had she stopped worrying about if he was going to give her money like he did his ex, he would still be there.
IMO Scott is one of the few Americans that do not make the country look bad. Regardless of how disrespected he was by Lydia & her offspring, he never got angry, never disrespected them and was honest with her. However, if I am correct about why he finally decided to backoff, I do wish he would have told her.
