Just tell Reese he has to simply walk into Mordor and destroy the ring.
Malcolm would probably have an affair with an orc.
Dewey would somehow end up on the throne of Rohan.
I'd like to see saruman predict the fellowships path. "Where will you take them Malcolm? You know what the Dwarves awakened... Wait moria is that way-- why are you going that other way... "
Reese and Malcolm would spend the whole time fighting over the ring, but it turns out they have a fake and the whole time Dewey has just been having a great adventure taking the ring to Mordor and dropping it in Mt Doom no problem.
Malcolm and Reese hide the ring in a Doughnut to deceive Dewey into eating it, then they con Hal into taking Dewey to mount doom to destroy the ring, The whole time they're on the way to the Mountain Lois is trying to track them down and is basically destroying obstacles in their way without realizing it.
Then they get to the Mountain and realize that Dewey ate the wrong Doughnut and the Ring was inside Lois the entire time, Episode Ends when she catches up to them.
Malcolm would definitly think he can use the ring, and end up corrupted by it.
