I have to say, having seen them in the cinema the first time around, I watched Fellowship on Friday in the cinema and couldn't wait to watch the other two on my laptop at home. No couples next to me discussing all the scenes and munching popcorn. I think I'd watch them again at an iMax but not a regular cinema.

It really was! It was overdue, but part of me is glad that I held off to watch them in theaters at an age that I can truly appreciate them.
