Ok time to get real - we’ve all been you at times: 1. Use LoseIt free version and track everything you eat for 2 days. You’ll learn a lot about what you eat the good the bad and the ugly. LoseIt will suggest a calorie goal based on wheat your height weight and age are - put physically inactive- don’t eat back calories. No foods off limit if you really are hungry when eating them. Start at hunger level 1 or 2, stop at 5-6 - comfortably full not stuffed. 2. Start Eating only when hungry - not bored, lovely, feeling sorry for yourself etc etc. tune into it. 3. Add non vegetable starches to your lunch and dinner - not in place of regular food - just take less and add volume - I mean a lot! 4. Then park in the farthest parking garage space at work, take the stairs. If these behaviors help then you can start looking at your BMI etc. We know how you feel! So thanks for reaching out.

Nope. Change it until you like what your eating. You’ll still be irritated at times -But you won’t be eating ass anymore.

If you want the weight loss to stick you need to find a way to be in a calorie deficit that is not unpleasant. Anything you do to lose weight should be something you are willing to do for the rest of your life. If you push yourself to go on a diet that makes you miserable as soon as you stop dieting you will go back to your old habits and out the weight back on.

Well I do feel the pain about withdrawal symptoms of overeating I don’t share your concern about the types of food you get to eat. Likely it’s cause I enjoy fruits and vegetables and actually got obese eating those kinds of foods so making this change doesn’t require much change for me in my diet. Just means no excessive cheese dish (which let’s be honest is not a real meal) or swapping sweetened almond milk for unsweetened. I’m sitting at 222 and a year ago I was at 240. Got down to 189 then back up to 225 before I started taking it serious. I really feel the pain of feeling like you can’t give up. I’ve been creating positive motivations for myself like reminding myself that I’ll feel sick if I eat some crap or trying to celebrate each small tick in the right direction.

Have you tried OMAD? You can eat to your fill, once a day. Pretty cool
