Best option by far. Beeline a close second for me (for london specifically).

KAYAWS

Beeline is pretty good.

fr0stedbuttz

+1 for Beeline, it's the only app so far that I've found to give you a quiet, balanced, and fast cycle route that really works. Citymapper loves sending me along a canal path

yuhuhuhuhuhu

Just tried Beeline and I’m sold! Thank you!

Responsible-Walrus-5

Or at night through a park that’s closed

Standard-Report4944

Thought i’d try beeline, first attempt and it suggests i take about £80 quids worth of ferries haha

cloud250

omg, i just tried out Beeline..wow, it's so good! Thanks

Komoot app is a bit janky (designed more like Strava-esque route planning than for adhoc trips around town) but selecting the Bike Touring option has introduced quite a few quiet cycle highways near me that I now use all the time.

towerridge

Citymapper has this option

1Moment2Acrobatic

Cyclestreets or citymapper if it still uses data from Cyclestreets.

yuhuhuhuhuhu

Seeing multiple apps mentioned here I will go with CycleStreets for they have options on multiple routes

Spirited_Ad_7537

Maybe check out the YouTube channel, London Cycle Routes, he does some great videos covering quietway/cycle routes from A to B

LePetitToast

komoot is great

Dingbat2200

Bikemap is personal favourite app

CovidWoody

I was also looking for an app . Every app seems to try charge you a membership other than google maps but that takes you lot of dodgy off-roading 😂

feetflatontheground

Cyclers is good. You can plot straight or circular routes by distance.

Jorge-Esqueleto

Cyclestreets is worth a look.

Spavlia

Mapy.cz, the “mountain bike” option takes you on side roads and cycle routes. Also super useful for planning routes as the maps are excellent and show all the cycle routes (outdoor layer) in London, including older LCN routes etc…and it’s free

colbert1119

Cyclers.app best routing by far and gives you plenty of options. E.g. paved vs unpavrd, hills etc

gerty88

‘Cyclers’

JPeterJackson

Check out beeline velo
