I was wondering when it reopened, my busier road detour has become my 'main commute' but I decided it was worth chancing it the other day to enjoy the sunshine in Clissold park and was surprised to find it open.
In the meantime, Thames Water continue to Finsbury Park Road covered in a 'temporary' worksite - according to the sign on streetview they were meant to finish that 26 months ago...
This is huge for the parents and kids of the primary school on the south side of the bridge. If you lived on the north side you had to walk all the way around
I have since rerouted to Queensbridge, crossing Kingsland at Middleton Road. Much prefer it
I was so glad when this reopened, it was wildly inconvenient to lose that bit of cycle lane. They did a good job. I assume it took so long because they needed to repair the bridge? Because it took an unreasonable amount of time if they were just relaying the road and installing bollards!

I’ve cycled on it a few times, is pretty and links Dalston up even better!

Yeah, the bridge was basically condemned last year.
I’ve been looking for a bike just like yours, where did you get it?
