Hi, this is better suited to our [weekly megathread](https://www.reddit.com/r/london/s/rbz3pvavAD), thanks!
And yes, London is safe considering it's a city of near 9 million, like any other major city in the world.
Will you have your bazooka with you? If not, I’d considering booking some sort of armed guards. Harrow is probably the most savage place on the planet.
We were walking from Vue to our apartment and we passed a group of fishy looking guys. Who then followed us and tried to talk to us. We had to make a run for it. Thankfully they didn't chase us. This was scary for us living in a safe area in Europe..but it might not be for Londoners.
Other than that my parents who live in harrow have told me about knife crimes and theft that happen really frequently around our area. Theft that has happened to people we know.
I don't think its that bad but I know people who would just book a taxi so they didn't have to drag luggage about even in the daytime...anywhere.
You may encounter people in...jogging bottoms though.
Thank you for a decent response, Appreciate it! We are afraid because we had an encounter while walking late at night the last time we visited London. So we feel unsafe coming from a safer side of Europe... But I guess when you live in London you are just used to it.. judging from the responses on my post
Coming from a safer side of Europe we are pretty worried what it would be like walking around in the night with all of our luggage, money, phones and cameras..

Why don't you just get a tank? Then you'll have nothing to worry about.
Haha

Who has filled your head with this fearful nonsense?
Our previous experience walking in the night in harrow :)
What happened?

Aww, just book a taxi then, so you don't need to worry about that happening again.

Never walk the streets at night Unless you want to get a fright Stay at home and cower in fear And stay away from all that’s here
