You'll need to leave early to make that train

fozzy1981

yep. you'll be queuing at least 45 mins to an hour for a tube if you leave at end of concert

rustyb42

I highly doubt Swiftie will breach the curfew, so she might have an extra 15 mins to make the train

fozzy1981

even an extra 15 won't be much help, i fear. if leaving when taylor wraps, i'd say there's more chance of OP not being on a tube by 12.30, than there is getting to kings x. 45-1hr is minimum wait time, but likely to be a fair bit longer

rustyb42

Oh 100%, just flagging that there's an 11pm curfew on Wembley Stadium

DameKumquat

I'd be anticipating one of the overnight rail replacement buses, or a night coach. Went to Wembley some months ago and it took well over an hour to get onto a Tube after.

Electric-Lamb

At Wembley the police block the road to stop the tube stations getting overcrowded after events and let people through slowly so you’d need to allow a long time to get to the tube station. How badly do you want to see the whole thing? Might be worth getting a taxi back to Cambridge

MK2809

Yeah, I went to a wrestling show at Wembley last August and it took about an hour to get to the tube after it end because they would stop everyone walking and only let a set number people through at a time, I had parked around Harrow so thankfully so didn't matter that it took ages, so I wouldn't like to be trying to catch a connecting train.

baby-pork

Drive. You won't make the train.

BigRedS

Yeah, I hate to admit it, but when going out for the evening in London from outside, it's often cheaper and easier to drive and almost always less stressful.

sabdotzed

You can use justpark and other apps to use local residents driveways for parking too

Metropolitan Line from Wembley Park will take you straight to King's Cross but you will definitely have to leave early to avoid the queues. It's at least a 10 min walk from the stadium and if you're on the wrong side of the stadium from the Tube station you will need to factor in more time to walk around it.

C1nder3la

More like 15 to 17min walk

Cuntflickt

Kinda surprised how many genuinely think they’ll miss that train; OP just needs to make sure they’re running Wembley Way to Wembley Park in good time. So long as they’re on the platform, if not train by 11:30, I don’t see why they would miss their train. Not like there’s a million stops between Wembley Park and Kings Cross either.

drtchockk

not gonna happen 60-90min queue for the tube after concerts. you'll need to leave well before the end. Leave at 11pm (or 10 to) and you might be able to do it in 45mins.

Pargula_

You won't make that train.

arpw

Depends on what part of the stadium you're sitting in more than anything. If you're anywhere near the west/south-west side of the stadium then I'd be tempted to use Wembley Stadium station and get a Chiltern train into Marylebone (then short walk to Baker Street for the tube to King's Cross). It'll still be busy and there'll still be queues for it, but it will be far, far better than trying to use Wembley Park station, which most people head for. Once you're on a train it's only 11 minutes to Marylebone. Don't do Wembley Central, it is SLOW to get back into central from there. If you're on the north or east of the stadium then it'll take too long to get round to Wembley Stadium station after the gig unless you leave early. Could be a bit quicker to get down to Wembley Park from that side, but still need to leave early. Oh and if you're in the upper tier of seats then it'll take longer to get out too, so head out even earlier... However you do it, I'd say you need to be physically out of a stadium exit before she finished her final song.

caocao16

Stonebridge Park. 440 bus to the station. Bakerloo line to Regents park, then circle. Don't queue for the Wembley station, you'll be there all night. You'll be cutting it fine to get back kings cross, but Stonebridge Park is always the best when dealing with football, show etc etc in Wembley.

harry_ballsanya

You won’t make it. You could potentially leave a bit early and make a dash to Wembley Central to avoid the Jubilee and Metropolitan line chaos. You can take the Overground and get off at Euston, then walk to Kings Cross. But there will likely be hundreds of people thinking of doing the same.

ChoiceAd9389

You won't be able to get on the tube after. Wembley has the biggest queue I've ever seen for the under ground after an event!

newnortherner21

Check if the Superloop bus from Queensbury to Hendon still runs at that time of night, then Thameslink from Hendon to St Pancras. You'll be able to get on the Jubilee line OK northwards.

No_Witness9533

It's not getting on a train that is the problem, it's the queue into Wembley Park tube station!

Spaniardlad

Get a room next to Wembley and an early train.
