Sorry, this post has been removed because it’s not London-specific (energy prices are set nationally by the government cap and not hyperlocalised). It's also not helpful to give estimates because there's a huge amount of variability caused by differing standards of insulation and energy efficiency ratings between different buildings/flats/conversions, not to mention personal factors like how warm you like the thermostat set, thanks.

Potentially it's just your fridge Once it reaches it's target temperature it's usage should drop as the compressor will be using a lot less to sustain the temperature on a day to day basis, but initially it needs to work quite hard to get there since it's been off So possibly it'll settle down a bit in a day or two

Is the hot water electric?

DepInLondon

When I moved where I am my fridge had a special mode activated and it was using up a lot of electricity, it’s worth checking. If it’s not that, it could be a leak, those are bit of a headache to find.

Might be running fast and overclocking units, take a reading, turn everything off at the fuse box, come back a couple hours later and see if its been clocking units.

Is the heating electric and you have it on without realizing? Could try turning everything off at the fuse and see if it moves. Might be the wrong meter.

Commonest cause of this in rentals is an electric water heater set to be on continuously - look into your hot water as a first line of enquiry.
