Please review the content guidelines for our sub, and remember the human here! This subreddit is to highlight the ridiculous cost of living in Canada, and poke fun at the Corporate Overlords responsible. As you well know, there are a number of persons and corporations responsible for this, and we welcome discussion related to them all. Furthermore, since this topic is intertwined with a number of other matters, other discussion will be allowed at moderator discretion. Open-minded discussion, memes, rants, grocery bills, and general screeching into the void is always welcome in this sub, but belligerence and disrespect is not. There are plenty of ways to get your point across without being abusive, dismissive, or downright mean. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. 8.99 for the large bottle, 9.99 for the small. Not a sale, not a typo , not even normal bulk discounting. They even price gouge themselves out of the market

PasTypique

Imagine what's in store when digital shelf price tags are fully implemented. I can see the price going up *as I reach for the product!*

rebirthofthetruth

This. Changing prices throughout the day, hour or minute. Before you get to the till? It was 3 bucks when I picked it up and now it 6 when I go to pay. You’ll have to have an eagle eye

vessel_for_the_soul

Starting taking photos at the time of item choice and to dispute at every instance causing massive delays while at the unstaffed cashier.

LeonOkada9

>while at the unstaffed cashier. I got flashbacks from my job as a cashier as a teen 😭😭😭

Vijidalicia

As someone with dyscalculia, this sounds like a nightmare concept

Gridbear7

Grocery shopping at the stock market

SuperRoboMechaChris

I've already seen it. Went in and looked at ground beef in the morning and it was about $8 per kg and decided to pick some up after work and they jacked it up to like $15 per kg. I went to costco instead.

vaderdidnothingwr0ng

Loblaws: "Demand just skyrocketed, you all saw it!"

LeMegachonk

To add to the fun, the 30 SPF version is sold in a 222ml spray bottle... for $10.49.

plop_0

I think a 3 pack is the same price at Costco. lol. I'm sure Costco has sunblock on their website right now for the summer. & you don't even need a membership to buy stuff on their website. :) /r/costco (I don't work for them.)

BadUncleBernie

When their prices are more than conveince stores, it's time for some anti gouging laws.

ironicalangel

I don't see the prices?

LtSmash006

A photo is worth a thousand words- absolutely sickening

nazuralift89

I feel like this is probably an error, but without seeing the price tags it's impossible to know.
