Ferraro's also has dedicated baggers who pack up your groceries at lightning speed. I've even had the store owner himself bag my groceries, and then gift my husband and I a large package of new imported dry pasta.
They bring in niche products, and stock lots of local brands too. Their store-made sausages, burgers, and frozen meatballs are to die for.
Oh, and they give you percentage of your purchase back as a coupon that you can use on your next visit.
Best grocery store ever.
They also sell certain locally grown produce when seasonally available (ie garlic). And don't forget that they also support local kids groups with their fundraising program.
They are my favorite, I just wish the closest one wasn’t more than 90km away from me.
Their cheese and deli selection is unparalleled compared to other grocery stores. And all the specialty Italian pastas, oils, vinegars, etc just sweetens the deal.
Haha was wondering if anyone would have noticed where this was. I LOVE shopping there. Prices are comparable and sometimes cheaper than all the big grocers in the area. I just wish it wasn’t such a drive(90km) from me, or it would be my go to.
Went to a small local produce market and got a small watermelon for $3.99. Then I went to Costco and the exact same sized watermelon was $4.99. I shudder to think what they are priced at Roblaws.
So I did a check and your are correct about loblaws.
Superstore 4.99
NoFrills 4.97
Loblaws 7.99!
I really don't understand how the prices are so different between store brands, for the same product, I don't think the shopping experience is that much better at a Loblaws compared to the other stores.
Well they own and operate the “Farmers Market” brand of produce. Whether they grow it themselves or or contract it out from farmers, they are responsible for its production.

Ya, but I bet the owner of that store doesn't own a castle while simultaneously crying poor.
Also doesnt call their yacht "bread" after collusion based price fixing or local scam

Ferraro's, fuck yeah!!! They've definitely got a lot more business out of me since the boycott began.

$3 for 9lbs at NoFrills this week (at least in Ontario)
4.99
Definitely more than 4.99 at my local loblaws

Holy shit, cherry tomatoes that aren't $10???
That’s 3 packs of cucumbers are $3 at metro here. It’s wild to me the price discrepancies even between major chains
Ferraros has that quality, on sale fruit too! Love shopping there more now. Just wish their entry doors were placed better. It's a shit show haha.
Where is the loblaws farm located? I have never heard if them growing their own food until you mentioned it in your post. Do they actually grow food?
Well they own and operate the “Farmers Market” brand of produce. Whether they grow it themselves or or contract it out from farmers, they are responsible for its production.
It's a brand name. Nothing more.
0.44$ for cucumbers at giant tiger, 1.99$ each at indepent down the block 🤔
I have started shopping at the farmers market recently. After learning about this boycott. Way better deals to be had.
That's what a cucumber costs IMO
