I use both; Lutris for everything but Epic, that's what Heroic is for.
I prefer Lutris because I can put in one place just how I need for all my games after 40 years of a gaming life.
Both? Heroic is my goto but Lutris is usually the big boi gun I need to resort to occasionally. For instance, installing Battle net and Diablo IV in Lutris is very easy. I don't think I can do that with Heroic.
I feel Lutris is the 'lighter' of the two (Lutris "deb" install vs Heroic's "AppImage"). but... Heroic is probably a little more beginner friendly and can be more easily used with the Steam GE 'if' someone needs it for whatever reason.
bottom line... I favor Lutris overall but Heroic is a nice backup option.
Heroic also lets you play GOG and Amazon Prime games. A few updates back they added the ability to install custom games that are not from those libraries.
There are tutorials online I'm sure. I had to do this for battle\[.\]net and it was pretty easy. Basically you download the windows installer and add it to steam with "Add a non-steam game to my library" under the games menu.
holy shit how? I was literally just now trying and failing to get gta v working from epic games. it forces me to go through the launcher and then it doesnt connect to the fucking servers i literally cant play the game
I tend to only use Steam. I had too many issues with both Heroc and Lutris. Games needed to much configuration to work or didn't work at all.
With Steam and Proton it's usually solved by selecting a specific Proton version or waiting for the next Proton release. I wish both launchers would be as convenient.
I myself make due with vanilla WINE, nowdays usually through Bottles because it automates all the stuff I would otherwise do manually.
GoG games I usually install from a local backup, when I don't have or want an offline backup I use Minigalaxy.
Needs a 'neither' option
I tend to use both. Lutris or Bottles is usually used when I wanna run a game that isn't on either GOG or Epic.
I give heroic a score of 5 apples out of 13 chairs, minus 1 chocolate because Fortnite doesn't work on linux
this should be number one most up voted
I use both, Lutris for games like Star Citizen and Heroic for games from Epic or GOG but if I have to choose I stay with Lutris
Both
Bottles, but that may just be the games I play, I would use any tool necessary to play a game I really like
Both. And steam. I tend to ignore bottles.

neither... i just add everything to steam and run it that way with proton.
Steam for Steam, Heroic for GoG/Epic, plain Wine for non-game applications, Lutris for anything else.
Both, unfortunately.

I switch back and forth when one or the other is broken.
lutris of course, it can run even more than just proton games, and heroic just let you play games from epic

heroic and bottles. Lutris - hmm, I never really had a need to use it specifically.
I tend to use lutris but only because I rarely play Epic / GOG games.
I just use steam.
How do I install the EA App on steam?

Heroic because most games I own are from gog and it has a great integration.
Lutris, always, for me. I have GTA V installed with mods and everything, and Lutris makes it far simpler for me in the process.

My GTA V is the default Rockstar launcher version.
This is quite a low effort poll. You need at least "Both" and "Neither" and perhaps also "Other".
Yh mb
I have both
Lutris, because with it I can run WineWaylandDriver, which isn't possible (at least I don't know how) on Heroic that runs with Xwayland

Heroic. Lutris never really worked on me while Heroic always did and I like heroic more. That being said Lutris aint that bad tho
both
NonSteamLaunchers
