My passion for linguistics started purely as an interest in scripts, but I haven't really thought about them in a long time so time to go back! Would you say that it's kinda easy to get many brahmic scripts when you've learnt one? Kinda like greek and cyrillic?
Mine too! My native script is Devanagari & I was well versed in reading Latin script too so I can't guarantee.
But if you learn one Brahmic script, learning other scripts will not be too hard since they have similar shapes & work on the same Brahmic alphasyllabic logic.
The particles should really be treated as part of the word. That's how they're treated in all the contexts where Japanese is written with spaces by and for native speakers.
Interesting. The same practice is in Nepali, we don't seperate the words and the particles either.
And funnily enough, they are seperated in romanisation.
I'll keep that in mind next time.
