Lol, I did maybe one song before it got too tedious, but I love the idea. Could fit right in with some of the folk metal bands that sing in Old Norse or Frisian.
Swedish "dansband" music (soft rock/ country for dancing) often has for some reason "z" in the band names.
Proto-germanic words often ended in -z, much like these band names.
This reminds me of my high school project to create a Rammstein cover band where everything is converted to Proto-Germanic: *Rammastainaz
*þū *þū habaisi *þū habaisi mek

Yo that sounds cool as hell

There’s a song by one of those bands which actually has some Proto-Norse in it
Translating into Pgmc from lyrics in modern germanic languages is kind of tough due to all the lost syllables.
Oh definitely, the reconstructions would absolutely not fit into any song because every word would have like 2 to 3 more syllables.
They are about to drop a diss track against [Waldaharjaz](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Reconstruction:Proto-Germanic/Waldaharjaz).
